i have exactly the same. indeed very rare, and very cool, plays like butter, and awesome sound, BUT why do you think its heavy? It actually very light for a bass. have you ever tried a more popular fender?

@ZyklonCable all my 4string basses are under 4.3kg, this esh is 4.78kg.
