  • HA hahahahahaha. funny shit. That's what you get for driving a truck through someones living room.

  • holy fuck!

  • wow scary! So mom left you alone after the truck was overturned? Thats a relief: I love elephants, but even this would be too close for comfort :)

  • Cows when stressed also leak fluid from their temporal glands - I have seen it many times before!

  • @PennyinSA true, but that's not musth.

  • This definitely warrants a Jurassic Park quote:

    - CLEVER GIRL!

  • @WallisLad jajajajajaja

  • Basic animal behavior... protect my young. Foolish to just hang out there that long.

  • No point in trading insults with uncouth, uneducated people who think that vulgarity and in your face abrasiveness will win the day. Why not visit Africa for yourself as its categorically not for sissies! I believe all guides should be properly trained to read the warning signs of animals that are unhappy with a vehicle within their flee or fight zone. Enough said I am out of this one!

  • @PennyinSA whatever you say Dr. DoLittle whatever you say

  • if an elephant is charging just take away his credit card!

  • How sad that people do not recognise an elephant in musth and refer to it as a slash on its face and even more sad that this guide did not read all the warning signs and get out of the sighting when the elephant clearly showed its distress. This is the wild side of nature and these were not captured elephants. This could have been a life threatening incident for those tourists. I hope that guide is removed from the industry forthwith

  • @PennyinSA i wonder how competent you are at your job. you couldnt flip a coin yet you drool diarrhea about how this man should be stripped of hes livelihood because of something he had no control over. i wonder what you would of done in that situation apart from physically shitting from the mouth. like i said to the other guy, Blow it out your arse. Get real..

  • @PennyinSA the elephant with a mark on its face is a cow. Musth is a bull elephant condition.

  • @sam2marshall Cows can leak from the temporal gland as much as what Bulls can especially if they are stressed or physically aroused by circumstances. The word musth comes from the Inidan word which means mischief (roughly translated). I have seen many cows and young elephants exuding fluid from their temporal glands!

  • @PennyinSA you may have seen temporal secretions from cows many times, and I've seen it too, but that doesn't change the meaning of what musth is. I've seen many men have hissy fits but that doesn't make it PMT.

  • 7:28 Clever girl

  • More idiot humans! Go Klub Kaukawana!

  • @sam2marshall PS: I am glad to hear you're all safe and hope you're in good health :)

  • To all those who feel it is appropriate to troll on someone's YouTube video; I do believe you are getting out of hand, and before you say, 'But @sam2marshall was being mean!!' You may want to question your motives and ask yourself these questions; 'Is it worth putting these comments up?' 'Would you not defend yourself also had these been put on your channel?' And 'When can I learn to grow up?' I hope that this comment has been helpful towards the cause of 'enjoying @sam2marshall's video'

  • i definately heard someone ask "Is that a buffalo?" .... yes its a buffalo...you pass the safari...

  • You put your self in danger!! And your passengers! If I was your boss, I would fire you!

  • @knoblock70 , they go on these safaris because they are dangerous. Otherwise they'd go to the zoo. Part of the thrill: I went on a safari and did *not* get eaten!"

    :)

  • Not a very good tour guide. Knowing they were in between a mother elephant and her calf, and not appearing to do much about it, ended up putting everyone else at risk.

These elephants were clearly showing agitation and discomfort starting at 4:50. That would have been the perfect time to either move further away or leave the area entirely. Preferably the latter.

  • @Wolfie238 Totally agree. All the signs were there. Its better to come back another day when mama aint so protective over boistrous baby.

  • @Wolfie238 blow it out your arse you judgmental prick. you act as if this is some heinous crime committed by this non perfect god like all knowing tour guide.

so theyre supposed to leave the entire area as soon as the elephant gets a glimpse at them?? what sort of logic is that? their would be a lot less footage of elephants this is the wild and lessons are learnt the hard way you want controlled observing? go to a bloody zoo where youre guaranteed no surprises or your money back. pfshh

  • @CommonSense0695

And a Happy New Year to you too. :):)

  • @Wolfie238 I thought the the same thing into the fisrt 10 seconds of the vid, the tour guide should have left the area when they first saw the baby with the mom.

  • AHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAH that was funny :)

  • She's like I'M LARGE AND IN CHARGE BITCH

  • The Game Warden should have known better than to stay why they were even if it meant backing away from that spot. The car and what to the elephants were noisy clicks and talking were split by the car. This is crazily dangerous.

  • 7:26 you stalckin my bebeh

  • 7:37 minutes of footage and 7:35 minutes of the footage is enough to put you to sleep then the video cuts the best part off? Yes lets hire this film editor...

  • Those Elephants know they live in a safari, they agreed to have people visit and watch them for the protection and food provided by the owners, they should be more patient and appreciative to people. Anywhere outside of the safari fences they would be attacked by Lions and Crocodiles.

  • @ronbronb lol what? Yea Crocs and Lions love to attack Elephants because they are so easy to kill....

  • @ronbronb the elephants agreed? really? im pretty sure these elephants did not "agree" to being captured in the wild and forced to live in a safari. they may be safe from predators but they're in an unnatural environment now which makes them more aggressive towards humans. humans become the predators.

  • i would do the exact same if someone was in my house starring at me and my every movement....hahahaha. I do not feel bad for people who get "attacked" while tresspassing into wild animals havens. what would you do if you felt your kids were threatend.

  • that growl at the end is the last thing you would hear on foot in that situation

  • Wow....did you guys get too close to the little ones? Momma seemed quite upset (or who actually overturned the car?)

  • Guess the ears - which even kids learn about gave the mood away - but on you go.

  • now just put it on P OHHHH FUUUUCKKKKKKK!!!!

  • Well, thats what happens when youre in the wrong place in the wrong time in nature.

  • hehehehe hahaha

  • Lmao

  • lmao

  • they hunt like velociraptors!

  • That mother elephant is a ninja! She came out of nowhere!

  • oh my God, that is one terrifying growl she makes at the end D-:

  • Its always the kids that start the trouble, Bloody chavs lol.. Oh and easy girl easy girl is now not used in the text within the guide on how to stop an elephant killing you. Easy girl and clapping just dont cut it lol

  • hehe i like the way you look at the baby thinking awwwww how cute, hello baby look how sweet you are acting all big and tough.... fuck meeeeeeee hello mummy !!! oowww eeee oo dead lol

  • im so happy, they got what they asked for....

  • That elephant was a.gaurd at guantonimo!

  • the united kingdom needs to have an editing class for all its people who upload videos to utube

  • @hom859 You need to learn to use that little slidebar if you like to cut to the chase.

  • @hom859 Yes you're right, the problem is clearly endemic. On behalf of the UK, its protectorate islands and our friends in the Commonwealth I'd like to offer you a personal apology. We'll be rounding up every man, woman and child for emergency training on their BBC 'B' Microcomputers.

Perhaps in return you could encourage your country to engage in a basic literacy programme so that a video clearly labelled "Unedited" and a description linking to "SHORT" version does not become a fuckwit magnet

  • @sam2marshall Stick it to the fuckers Sammo!

  • @sam2marshall - I applaud you on your verbal bitchslap of hom859. Well done.

  • @sam2marshall best reply to any comment, ever.

  • @sam2marshall Great answer

  • @hom859 Its youtube, also the title clearly says unedited you stupid person. Haha who looks so silly? You look so silly.

  • @hom859 Retarded idiot. You did not notice the words unedited in the title? You did not notice the link to the short version in the comments? You are too stupid to pay attention, or use proper grammar and punctuation? Congratulations, you made yourself look stupid to thousands of people! Well done dumbass! :)

  • Those Elephants set you guys up good.

  • Here we go!...hhooooaaaaarrrr!!!...LMAO

  • That was just like the Raptors from Jurassic Park.

  • I JUST SKIPPED TO THE END AND THATS WHEN IT HAPPENED.. LOL ELEPHANT TRICKED THEM AND CAME OUT OF THE BUSHES LOL

  • nice shot shithook

  • @pointmanonthe50cal and is there any point to your little outburst, or are you just venting because you got sent to bed early?

  • @sam2marshall

hahahalil girl...u hav sorely mistaken me for some1 who gives a shit.

u...yes u...the actual person who posred this lame shit has to defend it?

look "alice"...ur video is lame as fuck, just get over it...dnt post anymore bullshit...and well all be better off and move along.hahahaha!!!!

any1 can bait viewers with an interesting title...doesnt mean its worth looking at.othrewise there wudnt be such a thing as "rick rolled".sad thing is...ur serius, but ur vid still sux!haha!

  • @pointmanonthe50cal oh dear, you are getting wound up aren't you? I can imagine as you have few other social outlets then it will be a strain for you.

So let's lighten the mood with a little quiz

Q: Is someone who doesn't "give a shit" more likely to:

    A) Not post on this video at all

    B) Post several times and use up the whole character limit with their banal and illiterate trolling?

  • @sam2marshall

awwww...wus the matter...cant handle a lil critisism on ur video "mr speilberg"?hahahaha!!!

ur worthless and weak...just like ur pathetic vid...hahaha

idk which is more of a joke...u or ur video lil girl...hahaha...ur cute lil girl,i like u.

  • @pointmanonthe50cal oh dear, you're just like a little puppy desperate for attention aren't you? As soon as you get some you repeat the trick to see if you get some more.

However I think it's time that your probation officer faced up to the fact that giving you internet access isn't working. I can see why they might have tried it, having exhausted conventional methods, but the reality is that you're just not ready for interaction with the outside world.

    Here boy! Fetch!

  • @pointmanonthe50cal u reely shud know wen to give up!! @sam2marshall totally pwned u ROTFLMAO

  • @4evatx "pwned"...hahaha!!!stick w-xbox kidd.

  • @pointmanonthe50cal The attack is at the very end of the video...

  • @jgizzy

tnx for the heads up.this guy needs to learn bout a thing called "editing".

  • sucks 4 them.

  • The baby was like, "Get em mom!" and that's all it took, no questions asked. Lol.

  • yeah, they're beautiful & amazing to watch. but come on, READ THE BODY LANGUAGE>. they're avoiding, walking away, & obviously wish people would leave them alone! doesn't take a genius. and look at the road/path. they bring people here frequently, probably. uncool. leave them in peace!! there's only so many places THEY (elephants) can go, especially when they're following water sources. I can't believe how retarded people are sometimes.

  • @jadujen OK Ace Ventura, you're very confident for someone not in posession of the facts. They were walking away because the whole herd was moving in that direction before we turned up. The road was defined because the camp had just opened so supplies were coming in and the others were flooded (so much for the elephants having to follow the water sources). Probably your shock at how 'retarded' people are is becasue your over-inflated head is stuck up your own rusty sheriff's badge.

  • Was everyone ok?.

  • @stiglaa yes, both us and the elephant were fine.

  • @sam2marshall

Personally I am not in favour of these trips. Your video proves that. When these arranged tours first started not many people could afford them. That now has changed and you have many, many tour groups, at the same time, following groups of animals. It gets so bad that night hunters have powerful lights on them when they are hunting, which means little hope of a catch. These animals cannot pop into a supermarket if they dont have a kill. There has to be some other way surely. x

  • @stiglaa The video proves that you are not in favour of these trips??

I don't approve of the kind of safari you describe either. We were in a private reserve with only one permitted operator. Only 2 vehicles were in the whole park and we never followed the sae animals. At night we made a point of not disturbing animals on a hunt and only used red lamps so we didn't blind anything. The flip side is that tourist income does have a role to play in conservation work though.

  • @sam2marshall

As for conservation work, you could send in donations instead, the same as I do. I know its an amazing sight seeing these animals in the wild, but it has got out of hand when the tourists are in danger and the animals are not able to go about their lives in a natural way. I myself were born in Africa, and my parents helped start a reserve, but they think it has gone too far also. You chose a good reserve, many do not. I am glad no one was hurt, could have been different.

  • @stiglaa I think you're conflating my individual actions with your opinions on the industry as a whole. If I uploaded a video of me eating an omlette, would you feel at liberty to comment on battery hen farming? What if the eggs were free-range?

Tourist danger is a separate issue to the animal welfare. For tourists I think it's up to them to gauge the risk they want to take. I was happy to accept an element of risk. As for welfare, in practice donations alone appear insufficient.

  • @stiglaa It's the same with river rafting, climbing, sea kayaking, mountain biking etc. Of course the people who love doing it will defend it, but the changes these kind of activities have made to the environment in a comparatively short space of time will not easily heal. We can all have adventures within walking distance of our homes if we choose to. True conservation doesn't rely on fossil fuels and high tech products. The hidden costs will be passed on to the future generations.

  • @underterraingrunter I agree with you about sea kayaking. It's probably one of the most destructive forces known to man. I saw on the news once that the CIA had uncovered a terrorist plot to release what they call "dirty sea kyaks" in the subways of several major cities, bringing them grinding to a halt. Cleaning up the slippery kelp that fell off them would in itself take years. Luckily I live far inland so feel safe having my "walking distance adventures" to Blockbuster and back.

  • @sam2marshall Even sea kayakers poop sometimes. Guess where? If you are familiar with the ecology of remote offshore islands you will understand the concerns. Thank you for your profoundly insightful response.

  • hey if this happens to you why you try to observe these animals then you can't blame the animals. i mean you have to protect yourself no matter what. if you have to hurt an animal like this to defend yourself or someone else i would not frown upon that but if you do get fucked up tryin to observe them then you knew the risks goin in. It's nature.

  • @hom859 Thanks for the unsolicited preaching. Was Jerry Springer all booked out? I have never complained about what the elephant did. I would have been apalled if any animals had been harmed as a result of the incident and think the guide was remiss in not doing more to avoid the situation.

  • @sam2marshall u suck cock don't you

  • @hom859 that's amazing! How do you come up with quips like that? It's like reading Mark Twain meets Woody Allen.

  • Wow that must have been an interesting experience, a combination of bad luck and misjudgment on the guides part (he should have know better) ps i love your witty come backs to the fools who have commented on this vid, my only complaint is that i would like to have seen footage of the aftermath but i imagine you had a lot on your plate.

  • @ricardodewilsiano thanks for your comments. I also wish I'd kept the camera rolling but the screen flipped shut when I grabbed the side of the car to avoid falling on the people below me. After that the elephant was tusking the underside and shoving the vehicle along and an elderly man in the group was unresponsive so filming didn't seem a priority (he was OK, I think he passed out with shock).

  • To all the haters, what the hell is wrong with you lot? Piss off back to your tv and stop watching youtube.

  • I wish they would have shown what happened to the people. I am assuming they made it to safety, but you never know..

  • @Lulu4Him yes, we were all OK, thanks.

  • Oh em gee. This video was liek so long!!!1! I haz to complain about skipping to the end!!11!one! How dare you make me click and drag!! I no can read the description!!

Excellent video sam2marshall, the elephants were awesome and the end was well worth the wait. I'd definitely have had a heart attack in that situation. xD

  • @Rzrbrn :-) thanks for the supportive mockery of the trolls

  • It stopped at the good part when they die.

  • @Phuket11011 yeah, I think you're confusing TV with reality here. I'm guessing you don't get out much...

  • I would have shit myself in all truths.

  • 7:20

  • these dumb fucks paid thousands of dollars just to sit in a tin can and shove cameras in wild elephants faces, they totally deserved what happened.

  • @MrCriticize We had a fantastic vaction - beautiful scenery, luxurious accommodation, delicious food... it's very kind of you to say we totally deserved it, thank you (especially given how many tedious little trolls there are on the net that are just post feeble insults to get a reaction).

  • @sam2marshall SHUT THE FUCK UP

  • @Phuket11011 yes, that's the kind of thing I meant by 'tedious little troll'. Clever boy.

  • @sam2marshall

LOL! Like I said I agree with MrCriticize..

  • @sam2marshall well for someone to say you deserved that well that is just not right. Imo though we humans need to stay out of the business of animals because imo animals have been more and more aggressive lately towards us. I bet if two animals were fighting and they saw us they both would stop and try charging at us before resuming their fight

  • @sam2marshall So you are saying that was you in the video - I'm not a troll, respect Elephants - don't respect humans who abuse them - did you do anything to help the elephant with the gash down its face - nah didn't think so... but you post the video to youtube and complain when people go against you. You sicko - give me the contact details of who can help this elephant - I will and many others - you just keep thinking your clever.

  • @KelticWoman1 Show me the elephant with a gash down its face before you get abusive. I don't compain about people expressing different views to me, but I do object to false accusations. And as for others being vindictive or trolling, are you saying I'm not entitled to post back?

  • @sam2marshall Did you watch the same video as me - of course you are entitled to post back you can express you opinion and I may argue or see your point - that is if we are in real life and not frigging youtube world where people just type type type away. I saw a gash down the elephants face - it's in the video - or you can correct me.

  • @KelticWoman1 Being on YouTube isn't an excuse for making obnoxious comments based on arrogant assumptions. There was no elephant with a gash, but even if there was, what is it that you would have done in that situation?

  • @MrCriticize

I agree with you.. They're wild animals.. The mother was obviously trying to protect her baby by doing what she did.. They're amazing creatures and should be left the fuck alone and not have a camera shoved in their faces like you said! Sam2marshall is a prick!

  • @katy1423 Well, technically the elephant shoved HER face in MY camera.

As for anything else you wish to say: come back when you're grown up enough to make a point without being abusive.

  • @sam2marshall

Lol well technically no.. You are on their land!

  • @katy1423 i think you might find it's a teeny bit more complex than that. For one, the reserve they live on is entirely funded by the charity that runs the safari company we used. Without it they may well be faced by farmers pointing things a lot worse than cameras. And do you really think it was the camera that upset them? Why not go the whole anthropomorphic hog and say it was an invasion of their privacy?

  • @sam2marshall

Hm well that is true xD

  • Good job Elephant! You tell those humans!

  • Why do you shake the camera so much in the end?

What a retarded moment to stop filming too. Something interesting happens and you stop the camera. WTF?

  • @An0niempje

I wanna see you, with your camera, in the car, getting hit by an adult female elephant protecting her calf AND film it.

  • @MrJreyn17 I wanna see you, in front of a computer screen, getting hit with one of my comments AND not pick up the joke. :-)

I mean, how retarded to you think I am, ofc I get that.

  • Clever Girl...

  • that baby elephant was like, hey I got an idea...I'll run around to the other side of these jokers in the car and then scream like bloody murder for momma, ha ha ha

  • @dpattiris That's a strong reaction for someone with no expectations and no complaints :-)

    ...and no, I'm not blocked.

  • @dpattiris So you had no expectations & then complain that you felt mislead from the expectation that you didn't have? Or you hoped for "multiple replays from multiple angles" achieved without any editing. Perhaps by asking the elephant to back up a little and do a re-take then?

And yes, I knew the Titanic story, but there was nothing in the title that implied how far in the sinking would be. Or do you think icebergs are 2hrs sailing from Southampton?

  • i guess the " easy girl " command went ignored.

  • Poor elephants just want to eat and live in peace

  • @dpattiris PS. I recommend that you avoid the movie "Four Weddings and a Funeral". The title completely fails to provide an accurate timeline for planning your viewing

  • @dpattiris So you expected the charge to be 7 minutes long? That wouldn't be so much an angry charge as a mildly annoyed mosey. Surely "unedited" means you expect the whole clip to be unedited?

And as for Titanic - there's nothing in the movie title that suggests when the ship will sink, so I had no idea how long I'd have to sit for to see that bit. At least I had the decency to provide a Short version, which is more than James Cameron did!

  • @hardcorefrom94 'fraid not

  • why stop the vid,i hate you

  • @Lanse141 um, that would be because I needed my hands to stop me falling on my other half's head.

  • That would petrify me..

  • I spotted that older cow right away as the most likely to carry through the charge.

Her young bull calf doing the bluff charge set her off, even though he put himself at potential risk of the perceived threat of the Land Rover.

Those old cows are nearly always the most dangerous, at least according the late John "Pondoro" Taylor.

Glad to hear the old girl and the rest of you were all okay in the end.

  • What happened to the people. Are they ok. Elephants protecting its babies.

  • @richard7831 Yes they're OK, thanks

  • Lol at retards complaining about the first 7 minutes, what part of unedited did you not get XD

Also lol at the people in the car being all like "oh hes going" he the elephant coming for them then the shit gets real.

  • click here 7:25 to actually see the attack. other 7 damn minutes are nothing

  • pwnd.

  • Its good that no one was hurt, but I must ask a few question which is what happen to the car after that and how did you get back to a village or city?

  • Julle DOM Amerikaners ......

  • Elephant 1, humans 0!

  • buh. too long just for that..

  • That was some Jurassic Park sh!t!!!

  • what a brat! Complaining to mama and who likes to flip cars charging from random bushes...

  • Why do people assume they are welcomed everywhere they go? As soon as noticed a child with an adult I would have evacuated the area.

  • Man that would have scared the crap out of me.

  • DIS SHIT WAS MAD BORING UNTIL THAT ELEPHANT FLIPS YO DUMB ASS

  • help mama help !!!! ;(

muther fokin human i will smash u into bit rarrrrgggg i smash ur puny car rrrrrrrarrrrggggg

  • bwahahahahah easy girl oh oh easy girl !!!!!

too late mothafucka kiss da god dam floor !!

  • The young elephant got scared, the female came rushing to help. Should have you remain silence the cub wouldn't cry?

  • mom smash puny car!

  • How about edit out the first seven minutes.

  • @nottadoctor the clue is in the tile where it says 'unedited'. If you want the short version, try "Elephant flips car Zimbabwe (Short)". That one is edited so it is short.

  • @sam2marshall Since it's "unedited" I guess you should include the whole safari while you're at it...

unedited just means the actual occurrence is shown as it happened, without any alterations. the first seven minutes are completely irrelevant

  • @alvarojneto irrelevant to whom? I trust you are systematically going through the other 300M+ videos on YouTube to also inform the owners which parts you found personally relevant?

PS. I also don't recommend you watch the movie "Titanic". Would you beleive they don't show the bit where the ship sinks until the movie is nearly over??

  • @nottadoctor for the short version see the link in the description text

  • you think the guide would no better

  • @leoandmax69

    Humans and animals alike haha

  • The most dangerous place in the world is between a mother and her child.

  • @leoandmax69 or a dad and his beer.

  • @leoandmax69 That and your mum's legs.

  • @leoandmax69 No the most dangerous place is actually Afghanistan.

  • @leoandmax69 Like getting between a fat kid and a smartie

  • shouldnt have messed with mama

  • just turn around and to 30mph stright into the side of the elephant :).
