I was a roadie on that tour. That grand piano was the larger of two that we carried. It was placed down stage left. The duct tape squares on the piano lid were Billy's "victory markings" for killing flys that swarmed around the piano with a fly swatter. We painted the lid flat black for the "Live from Long Island" video shoot at Nassau Coliseum. The TV lights on the glossy finish caused a glare which reflected into the cameras so we had to paint it.
