It's been NBA live since NBA Live '95, long before online play was added to the series. Live doesn't mean online.

NP. Also i have the app and unless I'm missing something doesn't look like any multiplayer is in this app at all (just like Madden) for now. maybe they will update it later.

Yeah i know i got the game aswell but i dont see any multiplayer but i"ll hope it will come in updates. would be awesome with multiplayer
