Question. I was working on a castle design and some of the walls on my castle are curved. I was way too lazy to stack each block one by one, and I kept filling in the entire selection with stone instead of simpling raising the walls. Could you tell me how to raise only the curved walls without filling in the castle's interior?

At the end when you were planting flowers making the place look good, i found an easier way is to use bonemeal on grass, it creates a 5x5 patch or so of tall grass and also sporadically places flowers.

@XxcapsarxX Grab the entire selection (expand down if you can't get to the bottom of it) and replace the sand with stone, or something like 90%stone,5%coal,5%iron, etc.

This series is really useful, i learnt a lot. I prefer to use a brush with a 1 tall cylinder of grass and a mask on the dirt so that when its placed you dont get columns of grass growing underneath each other on larger cliffs etc, but thats just because i like to be awkward

Good tut as ever recommending your videos to all at mcschematics. Learnt something new as always.

Using a cylinder brush for placing grass/dirt for an island is useful if you want to keep a 1 or 2 layer thick beach rim around the outside, spheres tend to bleed down layers easily but it does take longer of course. I tend to bash up my big sand circles with some small air circles b4 smoothing to break it up a bit

Did you read my comments on vid 4 btw? Recommended a few other things to show

I also had issues when creating trees. In the detailed areas, we just individually planted them.

@shawnvmartin to make a pyramid you could select the base of it set it as sandstone, or sand whichever you would like then make the selection up 1 in 1 and keep doing that till you reach the top :D
