  • Holy Shit ^^ very nice

  • The Handcannon dislikes bowling pins...

  • @SiegfriedTheodor my butt hole dislikes bowling pins

  • is it me or does he look like a fat leon kennedy with brown hair?

  • WEAK GUN!

  • You should put some 450 grain bullets in there. that oughtta do some real damage

  • is the 500 double action or just single

  • @pianoguy98 THe model 500 smith and wesson magnum may be fired by just pulling the trigger ,or the hammer may be cocked back first if you perfer a verry light trigger.

  • That's nothing my .45 acp can do that also..!!!

  • You should shoot a bowling ball I took big chunks out of a bowling ball with my 357 Sig My Sig could blow a damn pin to shit too

  • Ill tell you what not to shoot.A BOWLING BALL! I shot one with my Mini 14 once and the bullet nearly hit me in the brain pan! hahaha But damn it would be cool to see what a S&W 500 could do to one ....

  • @MrWer1138 I've shot a bowling ball with the 500 Mag, no worry of ricochet with that.

  • I guess Dirty Harry is getting new gun...

  • Striiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike

  • lets disect a bowling pin class! now, well just take this little tool here and... BOOM ...sorry timmy

  • ОХУЕТЬ

  • i used an 22 cal number 8 bolt action rifle today it only had 2 grains and still blew a hole in a human target t a shooting range

  • now imagine thats justin biebers head

  • @2slow4thechase way ahead of ya

  • SSSTRRRRRRIIIIIKE!!!!!!!!!!

  • I held one of these before. The barell is atleast 1 foot long. And one of the shop staff said its 8 1/2 lbs. I picked it up with one hand thinking i could hold it and my hand was getting weighted to the ground lol. It was a .50 Caliber S&W 500. I said "can i rent it for an hour?" (normally you can just pick out any weapon you want and rent it) The shop member said, "Out of all the guns here, that's the only one we don't rent out, the kick on it is to massive to rent out." Someday i will buy. :)

  • @hex00002 Where did you get this info? on a standard model 500 the longest barrel available is 8.38 inches, and the longest available on a performance center model is 10.5. In addition, the gun weighs nowhere close to 8 1/2 lbs, the standard 8.38 inch model weighs less than 4 1/2 pounds. The recoil of the Model 500 isn't that bad either; with the weight of the gun, the muzzle brake, and hogue grips, a hot .454 Casull in a single action yields worse felt recoil.

  • @RebelWrestler45 actually the longest barrel is 12 inches

  • @karlaschultz1 No, the 460 XVR is available in a 12 inch model from Performance Center, but the longest available barrel length for the 500 is 10.5 inches.

  • @RebelWrestler45 the TC pro hunter has a 20in carbine barrel in 500 S&W

  • @RebelWrestler45 JTL-E make 12" barrel .50 s&w revolvers

  • @law8673 We were just talking about Smith and Wesson revolvers, anyways, Janz is essentially a custom shop; I'd love to get my hands on something from them or especially Korth. I'll stick to American made for my revolvers any day though.

  • You look almost identical to Dwight Schrute, from The Office. Man that is too funny, i really want your autograph. Are you related to him?

  • Wow! That is accurate shooting for this caliber!

  • @Bobbylegs37 its a hunting revolver, it should be accurate.. Not sure who told you large caliber handguns arent accurate, but they are wrong, you just need to know how to shoot them.

  • @Halvorson Sorry, I'm more used to combat pistols. The 10mm was removed from the FBI's standard side arm because some thought it was too powerful to be accurate enough for field use. Thanks for the comment!

  • @Bobbylegs37 its understandable, i'm sorry for my last comment sounding "douchey" but what your saying is true, part of the reason the military went to 9mm over .45 was because its easier to train someone to shoot the 9mm because of less kick. But under proper training, it is accurate. So im sure what you were saying originally, and what i misunderstood, was this guy knows how to shoot.

  • Every time I see a dude cocking with the left hand a revolver I said:

look this guy know how correctly handle a gun!

    VERY GOOD!!!

  • yankees....

  • Hell yeah!! Hillbilly bowling!

  • Pretty damn good shot for that far away with a revolver

  • i shot this gun the other day my first gun ever shot and im 14 it was realy REALY FUN funny thing is we used bowling pins 2 lol

  • lean into it a lil more next time

  • well that was the first rape of a bowling pin ive ever seen

  • damn you hold that fucker like a champ...

  • This guy knows how to hold a gun

  • You will never be troubled by that bowling pin again

  • Ho...ly...shit.

  • @ maxtolan. Just going off of Hornady recommendations. 47.5 graings of lil gun, according to them, is in the "safe" range. If you go to their website, its right there

  • Dude I would love to have this beast in my collection sadly I'm only 19 XD

  • That's some awesome shootin with that big bitch!!

  • yeah if im going to shoot stuff i don't want the gun to beat the shit out of me, just beat the shit out of the target

  • @CafeHarrar lol exactly im aware of that but for protection from dangerous game lol i could keep a mossberg 590

  • i dont like them there retarded too big of a round for a revolver its a show gun but then again thats my opinion obviously some people see a need for them i guess for fun ? idk im too used to military weapons if i was going to have a revolver it would be a 357 mag

  • only for fun they're not useful really. I know people like to do target shooting with them. They're's a man around my area that is naitonally known for his skills with large caliber pistols. Apparently he'd won a lot of competitions.

  • why a 357?

  • Cool.

  • cool third one is the charm... STRIKE!

  • @ ninja6kid thats a fucking dick thing to say dude

  • @ninja6kid

You are a fucking stupid ass.

  • i find it funny, i stumbled upon a store that sells armor-piercing .22 rounds, which seems like an oxymoron to me.

  • Why bother even shooting the gun if you're going to put 19 grains in the load? 47.5 grains of lil gun and a 300grain ftx....that'll do the trick!

  • because titegroup is less dense, therefore lighter. its roughly the same volume. titegroup is a bit light for a magnum of this size, but its certainly not a weak load. do some research about titegroup. most of my loads are with lil'gun, though. what would be weak is a 300gr bullet. i save those for my desert eagle and put the 500 grainers in this beast

  • Dude, 19.5gns of Titegroup blows my mind. I am used to loading 4-4.5 grns in 9mm.

  • @RSWrestler 47.5 grains of lil gun? That's way over max load for that bullet weight. Are you looking for signs of overpressure when firing that?

  • @RSWrestler It depends on the powder. 19 grains of 296 Win would yield hardly any recoil, 47.5 grains of 760 Win, and you'll earn yourself a trip to the ER.

  • @RSWrestler i prefer the 300-400grains

  • @RSWrestler with titegroup and 19.5 grains thats about 4 times as much powder thats found in a 357 magnum and keep in mind a 500 grain bullet has less room for powder

  • Due that is deffinately a 500. learn some shit about guns will ya dumb ass

  • Dip shit thats a .45 magnum

  • fucking tard

  • theres no such thing as a .45 mag

  • yes there is. its not very popular. i think the wildey has a chambering for one.

  • @masterjeem You are correct, there were others as well.

  • @masterjeem Sorry must be why i thing there isn't one. lol Thanks for the correction.

  • @masterjeem you are right but i'm not sure where you get them or the .475 wildey magnum. on their website they talked a lot about reloading and on death wish 3 when bronson gets his new wildey he was reloading shells. so they must be pretty hard to come by

  • @wigtrimer yes there is, the .45 winchester magnum. it is a semi auto pistol round.

  • @wigtrimer 45 winchester mag

  • @wigtrimer yes there is search it up

  • @wigtrimer .45 super?

  • @wigtrimer

    yep .45 win mag

  • @wigtrimer

yes, there is, because we own one. learn your firearms before posting next time, OK?

  • Wait, I thought if you shot 3 times that was a sign that you are in danger.

  • imagen if tht was your head

  • reminds me of Leon kennedy for some reason

  • 19.5 is a very mild load...try 40 grains of lil gun and a 440 hard cast if you want to feel some snap in your palm

  • lmfao!!!

  • you're an idiot

  • obviously you did not get the joke. that makes you the Idiot.

  • it obviously wasn't a joke moron

  • Oh ok , You can tell when I am joking and when I am not since you know what I say and how I mean it.

  • 1 shot kill duded R.I.P if you ever come across an angry pissed off midget :D

  • you should make a snow man and shoot that

  • Dude! Awesome idea. I can't wait til it snows lol.

  • R.I.P. Bowling Pin

  • Firewood!

  • now i know all the fun things i can do with my bowling pin

  • so what grain projectile/bullet are you using on the 500?

  • in that particular video i'm shooting a 335 grain rainier lead safe bullet. i also shoot 500 grain hornady xtp and 700 grain tyrannosaurus thumpers. you can see me shooting a few 500 grain bullets in my other video with me shooting my 2 50 caliber pistols.

  • @masterjeem you shoot the 700 grain!? fuck you got any vids of it?

  • @masterjeem now if we are invaded you got a one handed sniper (because some people put scopes on it)

  • @Egamer1

had on on there. it flew off after 100 rds

  • @masterjeem ha just proves how strong it is

  • he means grams, wow

  • 19.5 grain bullet? thats almost half the grain size of a .22!!!!

  • no, its not the projectile that is 19.5 grains. its the powder charge. the powder i was using is called titegroup so little is needed. this cartridge performs well with quite a few different powders. as of now my loads are almost 40 grains of lil'gun.

  • Is that a max load for the 500 with Titegroup? I use that powder in my 44 mag and 454 Casull, but usually around 44 special level (44) and between 45 colt and 44 mag level (454); that way I can actually go to an indoor range with them.

  • 0:12

walking around with your finger on the trigger of a loaded gun ain't too bright in my book but bowling pins are fun :)

  • my finger is inside the trigger guard BEHIND the trigger as i always keep it. but thanks for your concern for the safety of the mountain that is in the direction of the muzzle.

  • i got me a 357 S&W

pretty bad ass, smooth shooting gun

  • i shot a 44mag but would like a 454cusul

  • The 460SW shoots 45 long colt and 454 as well.

  • cool

  • those bfrs are very nice! i'm considering one in 30-30. the largest grain you can put through the 500 smith so far is the 700 grain tyrannosaurus thumpers. cast lead. they're INSANE

  • its not a box. i make them myself. yes. its powder grains. the bullet i was using that day was a 335gr bullet.

  • all you were using was a 335 gr bullet....whats the biggest grain bullet you can put out of that thin? 600? check my vids dude my buddy and i are experimenting with loads for a BFR .475 Linebaugh and i am currently looking at getting the BFR .500 s&w magnum..

  • 1 more thing real fast.

    19.5 Grains?

Why does this not sound correct?

    19.5 [GR] = 0.0445714906737584 Ounces.

Was the box speaking of powder grains?

  • Why did he keep pulling the hammer back? Are revolvers not semi auto? Sorry i know nothing on real firearms.

  • I own a Desert Eagle .50AE and while it is absolutely the most powerful automatic handgun on the planet, these m500's have about a 3rd more kinetic energy, with the same caliber ammunition.

    These guns are NO joke.

I purchased a shock resistant ACog Scope, MADE for my DE .50AE, the first shot with it mounted properly, resulted in the front lens shattering.

Considering this gun has more energy in it, it would be HARD to make reliable automatic firing mechanisms.

  • Terminator, Revolvers have two main types of firing mechinism. There are Single Action, where you have to cock the hammer every time, most older "Western" style Revolvers had this type of firing mechanics.

Then you have double action, where you can either pull the trigger to both cock & fire the weapon, OR manually cock the hammer each time, giving you a choice.

I would guess, that due to this weapons power, they opted to make it single action.

  • no its a double action revolver.

people just prefer to cock the hammer back when target shooting because it makes for a lighter trigger pull wich makes it easier to stay on target.

  • i'm shooting it single action style. its more accurate because you dont need as far of a trigger pull

  • Completely Understandable.

  • 19.5 grains? Thats tiny. My airgun uses 15 grain pellets. He must have made a mistake.

  • 19.5 grains is the weight of the powder that i use in that particular load. i've since graduated to 37 grains of lil'gun

  • Gotta love that sound

  • Do you actually get to shoot any bad guys or is it just bowling pins and tv's? Thats all you americans seem to use your guns for!

  • It's practice and everyone always hopes it stays that way unless you have to shoot someone.

It's not like the movies where you just pick one up and are accurate with it.

  • I know i have airguns and the pistols are impossible to aim accurately with lol.

  • actually no all the "gangsters" in the U.S. use their guns all the time for drive bys and stuff like that. of course most of them cant hit the broad side of a barn, but yes they use them.

  • Actually, they're more for protection. Remember the American Revolution? Then there were the countless times during war where the threat of an invasion was present. If the military ever fails to keep the enemy in their own front yard, the civilians still have a way fight back. Then there's always that ass hole that want's to rob your house. How do you greet them? With a 12 Gauge or a high cal weapon. Scares the pant's right off them.

  • right on, brother. the war of 1812 would not have been won and we would NOT have taken back our land if it wasnt for the armed citizen militia. thats why we NEVER since then, have had an invasion on u.s. soil because and i quote the japanese emperor during WWII "you cannot invade the mainland united states, there would be a rifle behind every bush"

  • The spies that turned themselves in after the Cold War said the same thing. They advised against invasion as by the time they got across the border and the southern states all they'd have left are heavy armor. The soldiers would have been picked off by the farmers alone.

  • You do know this gun was designed to kill bears not for personal protection, google it.

  • Please read before you post. I wasn't referring to this gun when I made my past post. Someone was making comments about how guns are useless and all we Americans do is just shoot shit because we can.

  • thats correct. these guns cannot kill humans, only bears.

  • No such thing as a spare with one of those babies.

  • I gotta remember not to piss you off!!!!

  • the beast!merry friggin' christmas!!!!

  • wud about the 700gr

  • haha i need to order some of those... they're cast lead and they're called tyrannosaurus thumpers. you cant put as much powder in the casing, and i've shot 335 and 500 grain bullets. i can really feel no difference in recoil between them due to not having as much powder, less velocity and all that. it'd still be cool to try one of those 700s out

  • idk where 2 find them anyway the most i see is 500gr

  • just google ranger rick's tyrannosaurus thumpers. you can order them online. damn, i'm looking at them now... i gotta get me some of these. i've been wanting to for quite a while. oh, and they're only bullets, not loaded ammo. you have to do your own handloading. i recommend using lil gun powder. its the BEST for the 500 mag

  • actually, scratch that. they're now loading those 700gr bullets at ballisticsupply dotcom. i'm still going to handload mine. much MUCH cheaper!

  • ahh a true piece of american power...i love smith and wesson...hey how do your wrists feel after shootin a full cylender of those beasty 500 mags? ive always been kinda afraid to shoot one in fear of my wrists snapping? lol

  • I shot that a year ago and the recoil scared the shit out of me. I mean it was steady and I had a grip on it but hot damn! Oh shit, I'd like to see some ghetto shit shoot that sideways. It'd hit him right in the face.

  • nice shooting

  • actually, 19.5 gr of titegroup is a little(for a 500mag). makes for a nice light load. try 43gr of Hodgdon H4227-you can see the results in the beginning of my 'bluegrass range fun' video.

  • STRIKE!

  • Man that's incredible. I want one!!!

  • if its the end of the world and you have to eat someone to survive, dont make it the black person you have with you, my friend tried it and it was horrible. so if u have to, eat the white persons

  • Shut up fag.

  • good shot hoss

  • Now, that's how to shoot!! I take back everything I posted in the past threads..

    Nice going... :)

  • Can't believe you hit that thing while it was swingin' with THAT gun! GREAT SHOOTIN, MAN!
