This happens due to problems with the graphics card. YOU are doing it right, but the GAME or your COMPUTER is messing up.

think he means without using the pool thing.. although this is not a pool it is more or less just a body of water.. so it should be titled 'how to make a body of water look like a pool' ..or something.. when placing walls with an elevation.. hit the CTRL key :) makes it a lot easier

Are you sure this isn't soaked? Beacuse there is a waterfall tool in the terrain section, and that isn't includied on the origanal RCT3.
