First time watching the trailer in a long time, and they were playing the final boss song the whole time, even more fitting if this was the final trailer they released. Hehe. Freakin' Capcom.

RE5 = Awful. This game in my opinion, is one of the worse games on the xbox360 to date. I compare this to like what happened with Aliens-Predator series when they released AVP etc....just an insult and cash-in on an already well designed pop-culture icon. The controls, game play and story in RE5 seems to have been designed by a 'visual person' who seems to have not understood why RE4 was such a classic. It's like 'Homer Simpson' was the creator behind this game, serios !

@SurfTheWeb4Gingers ...very true. But the AVP movies are made by fans of the series, rather than visionary directors like Ridley Scott( alien), james Cameron(aliens) and John McTiernan( predator and Die Hard). That's the difference. Cheers

@laurakrystel : Re4 on Gamecube has smoother control set-up( i played Re4 on Play station and it was not as good, weird) The Gameplay is not the same either as Re4 has more of a mystical horror survival element, where your alone in the woods and the suspense is great, then you change modes and have a co-op mode with characters and in between all this the story slowly develops, opposed to Re5 in which your shooting zombies in co-op mode right away. I actually bought a gamecube, just for re4 !

@mcrcharlie1 i know that 's what im saying... so far the only response i got was that re4 had the scary suspense thing and i personally didnt feel that when i played it neither i felt it when i played re5 (obvious) but i HAVE lot of fun playing re5, TO ME re4 was not boring but it didnt make me feel like carry on with the game

I remember watching the last 10 seconds of this trailer and screaming like crazy. I was like "Mom! She's Jill! I'm sure she's Jill! Jill's back!" and my mother -who has no idea about who Jill is- was really confused and she could only say "Good for you." xD
some people say, when you take out the gun and you are planted to the ground, they say thats stupid, in my opinion its very good, it adds more tension and makes you think about the best time to shoot or run, not to mention the trade system in the game adds even more and makes its really fun.
well it's a good game, lots of action... it's fun, and has alot of fast paced moments. But no, it's not scary, the resident evil series hasnt been scary since they released RE4. if ur a person who likes fast paced action games then yeah by all means get it. if u like scary games however you'll be disappointed. i hope i helped
@sachxtrem It isn't that advanced. Serveral hobbies made sensors that are even more precizely. And next to that the WII's gameplay is only for a short time. Most people get bored after a hour or 10.
@lcmy only cause of the games, if there were more games like Metroid, and mario and the soon coming zelda game then it would be more popular, nintendo isnt dumb, the wii is more of a prototype for their ultimate system, think about it, plus its kinda hard to be the first to make a motion sensored console and make it perfect dont you think?

And I personally don't like the moving game idea at all because I play games to relax.

@lcmy of course it wont be a platform for "hardcore gamers' i am a hardcore gamer myself but i still enjoy playing my wii, its fun, relaxing and i cant get enough of mario, there are some fun games that even hardcore gamers cna enjoy, for example, metroid has tons of action (besides the puzzels), hard bosses and can be challenging on the harder modes, super smash bros brawl has alot of action too, it is a system for gamers who know what true gaming is tho....

I personally think there IS future in motion sensing, but it's very limited.

@lcmy yes id like to see how the ywill come to, but the wii is for the old school gamers who grew up to playing mario and the other classics, which is why its more popular with adults, but think about it, the wii is more of a prototype then a full system, wii is only suppose to give a taste of what nintendo will have coming up, but i highly doubt that sony or microsoft can even top teh wii with their new system, mainly cause motion sensored systems will have trouble for the next few years.

some people say, when you take out the gun and you are planted to the ground, they say thats stupid, in my opinion its very good, it adds more tension and makes you think about the best time to shoot or run, not to mention the trade system in the game adds even more and makes its really fun.

well it's a good game, lots of action... it's fun, and has alot of fast paced moments. But no, it's not scary, the resident evil series hasnt been scary since they released RE4. if ur a person who likes fast paced action games then yeah by all means get it. if u like scary games however you'll be disappointed. i hope i helped

And I personally don't like the moving game idea at all because I play games to relax.
P.S. Giving mario and Zelda as example won't change my mind, because I hate those games.

@lcmy of course it wont be a platform for "hardcore gamers' i am a hardcore gamer myself but i still enjoy playing my wii, its fun, relaxing and i cant get enough of mario, there are some fun games that even hardcore gamers cna enjoy, for example, metroid has tons of action (besides the puzzels), hard bosses and can be challenging on the harder modes, super smash bros brawl has alot of action too, it is a system for gamers who know what true gaming is tho....

I personally think there IS future in motion sensing, but it's very limited.

@lcmy yes id like to see how the ywill come to, but the wii is for the old school gamers who grew up to playing mario and the other classics, which is why its more popular with adults, but think about it, the wii is more of a prototype then a full system, wii is only suppose to give a taste of what nintendo will have coming up, but i highly doubt that sony or microsoft can even top teh wii with their new system, mainly cause motion sensored systems will have trouble for the next few years.

Honeslty, RE4 wasn't that great either, I was vastly over-hyped, only thing I like is the gameplay.
Re4 in retrospect had a GOD awful storyline, with barely any resemblance to earlier games in the series.
RE4 was like playing a bizzare parody of a James bond flick, not remotely resident evil.
