i'm rather taken with the beagles...the one looks so old. i lost my goldie last May and am considering a beagle now. i think i have grieved enough and am ready for a new companion.
The quiet one who is not approaching the fence....sitting quietly.....in a kill facility - he would be first to be euthanized. The tail waggers who beg at the fence are considered more "adoptable" because of how they step forward to be chosen. The traumatized ones, shy ones, fearful ones who are too afraid to try are the first to "go" THEY are the ones that speak to me the most and I hate that they are considered the least valuable. I cant watch anymore
Watch their tails wag as they bark.......that is friendliness.....the barking is protection because they are very afraid. The crying is "Please please take me home and be my person" Very difficult for me to watch....
ohhh. How utterly sad that so many dogs don't have homes. I wonder if they get to go in when it's cold/rains. Ohhh - so sad!

GOSH some of those dogs are mean! made me jump right out of my skin! AHHHH The sweet little quiet beagle made me sad... such sad eyes...

This makes me wonder if it'd be better to let them roam free. This seems so sad having them caged up all next to each other.

Some of those dogs are darn right scary! It is so sad........and pulls at my heart strings. At least, it looks like they are taken care of.
