I fly and land bombed planes in Gta SA all the time. They aren't really that uncontrollable and definitely survivable. That being said, I also got all gold medals in flying school and unlocked the hunter helicopter.

Actually, there are two black boxes in every aircraft. The first one contains the recording of the cockpit. And the second one contains the codes and stuff of the aircraft showing what did the pilots do, what kind of buttons they have pressed, etc. But the video was nice. The music fits perfectly.
