Karishma is a brilliant actress; she entered bollywood with a string of new comers such as: Raveena Tandon, Nagma, Late Divya Bharti, Manisha Koirila and Urmilia to name a few, who went on to become big stars. However, she held up on her own and won our hearts with her hard work and dedication. She is also a true friend and a very good colleague to her peers and elders. She was among a few handful of Divya's colleague to attend her funeral. Really miss her presence in the movies.

@rerneez I 100% agree with you! When karishma entered bollywood, she had so much competition. There were promising new comers along with Sridevi and Madhuri; she had to work really hard to get where she is today. she is one of the very few talented actresses who can carry a movie by themselves without much help from the lead hero. She truly is a gem to the Indian film industry!

@5845402 people don't like and her sister Kareena because they are jealous of them. They feel that the Kapoors had their fame handed to them because they are from a famous and prominent Bollywood family but that is far from the truth because both Kareena and Karishma and phenomenally talented. Acting is in their bloodline. Their cousin Ranbir Kapoor too has got the gene.
