  • @phatcontrolla im glad its helpful! its a difficult tool to explain, i think i could do a better job now, but once is enough!

  • I'd been underusing the phase filter. I had no idea it do so much.

  • hi, thanks for the tutorial, very helpful, can you tell me how you docked the properties dialog box over the project browser please?

  • @eoghanharris . hello, it is a feature of Revit 2011. once you open the properties window by right clicking, you can drag it over the top of the browser window and it will snap into place.

    -D

  • @ddufon Could you create a tutorial or leave a comment explaining how to use the visibilty/graphic overide Filters to filter by phase? Thank you very much

  • @marcharchitects ..hi sorry for the late reply, been busy at work. Hmm, I'm not sure I understand why you would need to use the VG filter if you are doing so by phase, the phase filters should work just fine for you, unless you want to filter out only individual components and not all belonging to a particular phase. If that is the case then you can achieve this by filtering by some other means such as "family name". At any rate, Filters would be a good subject. I'll try to make one soon.

  • @marcharchitects hmm, i will add it to the list, but i have a long list :(

  • thank you so much for responding to my request and posting this phasing tutorial.

this helps a lot - its still complicated and i have to view this a few times,

but thank again for doing this.
