@Dalv94 Thanks, I just bought an Orange Crush 35LDX, very good for practice but the distortion lacks some punch, however I have a larger amp that I use as line out and that makes it sound awesome.

I think that The Mars Volta have always done what they've wanted to do; to create music which they enjoyed playing. This sounds like they've reverted back to some of their earlier tastes in music and influences and tried to recreate it almost in the sense of a copy and I feel like there's nothing here that's new or exciting any more. I hope the rest of the album will be better.

I'm a fan & I will be purchasing the new album but I must say this is probably the worst live line TMV has ever had, u guys r definitely not wowing anyone anymore, do everyone a favor & lose ur egos & beg Jon Theodore to come back, he's ur only chance @ reaching ur greatness again or this bands pretty much over in my opinion, also u guys r good but u have a terrible ear for finding the right drummer for ur band, deantoni is by far the worse drummer I've ever heard u play with
