  • Waou very good cover!!!

  • anyone care to search THE MOTORS dancin the night away , i like it

  • Hip Hip Hooooooooray

  • love it

  • it souds like ELO Kiddies the drums at first and the guitar solo

  • Nice to hear something new from the band and a very cleverly edited video.

  • It's a cover of the Slade song, "When the Lights Are Out."

  • come on thats not even funny

  • What is this from....I haven't heard this before. Is it from a soundtrack or perhaps a cut that wasn't used for an album. It sounds like Cheap Trick circa 1985 "Standing On The Edge". I like the Guitar solo feature of "Elo Kiddies" from the 1st Cheap Trick record.

  • nah, it sounds like Cheap Trick cira Heaven Tonight. The whole song is a litle nod to ELO Kiddies. Salde came out with this song in 74 which is the year Cheap Trick was formed, and since Slade played a part in the naming of Cheap Trick they are doing the song. I like it. World needs good and fun power pop these days and this fits the bill. I would say they are going the way of the Fratellis in that fun and melody are taking a front seat and chessy nickelback stuff is out that door

  • Thanks for the reply! Cheap Trick is my ATF band. I picked up on the ELO Kiddies stuff but missed the proper era that the song came from. Cheap Trick being around so long there is now so much material coming out of the wood works. Can you imagine how many songs they've demoed / recorded that have never been heard or aren't that readily available? Gotta love YouTube...thatnks for posting and filling me in on the background story of this song. Post more if you have any...thanks

  • From what I have heard this will be on the next cd, produced by Julian Raymond (Fastball, The Suicide Machines, Glen Campbell). Have you heard their last cd Rockford? It is amazing. They have this gift of sounding current and vital. They are one of those bands that most people take for granted.
