  • You'd be surprised what you get from this plane with an OS 1.08 and a 16X6. Not the sound of a 4s or gas, but the performance will definitely be there.

  • I am glad to see that your firewall is still together with the rest of the plane because 26cc engine is kind of too much for this size of plane. My point of view is this plane would fly just fine with a motor within the range of 15-20cc. I have the same plane still in the box and ;I am considering a 1.15ci 4c Saito glow engine just because I like the way 4cycles sound. Have very nice flights with your plane.

  • @baytacoglu

15-20cc gas would fly fine, but the power is not equal to a 1.20 4C Saito. The 26cc is comparable to a 1.20cc Glow 4C . I do understand that you would like the sound of the 4C, but the fuel mess and cost is not something I like.

  • @kwahyttam

Glo is great and higher the cc on glow engine you can run on cheaper less nitro percentage glo. The smell of burn gas is yuck. And storing gas plane in a room sucks. Do you store that plane close to the water heater?

    But nice flying.

"Do you store that plane close to the water heater?"

No? Not sure what you are implying here...

  • 26cc wow.. isnt that kinda big for a 60 size plane? was thinking of putting a 15 cc in a gp extra 300s kit i'm building myself

  • @tubsucks Not really. Its actually a 90 size, but it will fly on a 60 (not well though). Lots of people have put a .91 or greater 4S in them.

  • @kwahyttam oh i see sorry I thought it was a 60.. I suppose my 15cc idea for my extra 300 will be just right then... or i hope haha thanks :D

  • @kwahyttam The description on the vid does say it's a 60 size. Although it does have a 68" wingspan. A bit larger than most 60's. Nice plane.

  • @Stangbanger1989 i have one its more like a 90 to 120 size then a .60 its built like a tank and weighs as much as the Hanger 9 Funtana 125 and is with in a inch or 2 on the wingspan

  • hi,

i have the same plane and i want to install gas engine,

how did you install the engine ? did you just replace it right on the old mount, or did you have to drill new holes and mount it upside down.

do you have to use metal engine mount or is it stock,

    thanks

  • @oshklh

Just have to drill new holes into the firewall and mount the motor upside down. You just need standoffs for the motor mounts, preferred an alloy of some sort.

  • amigo, qual tamanho da asa dele? ficou bom com esse motor ? não ficou estolando nao?

  • friend, what size of wing it?

    It is a 69" wingspan.

    was good with this engine?

Yes, it hovers at 80% throttle on an APC 16x8 prop.

    not been stalled?

    The engine has run perfectly.

É um 69 "de envergadura. Paira no acelerador 80% em uma APC 16x8 prop. O motor funcionou perfeitamente.
