  • awesome

  • always loved cracker..got to interview then in 1995 at Radio Woodstock..Johnny was engaged.

hope everyone is doing well..playing this- lovin' the memories!

  • Ah Cracker -- the best in ANY LAND! New Haven, California, or Amsterdam!!!

  • Saw them live and your right bunnyzero0. Johnny sounded great! I was surprised he sang a certain song but I can't remember the name of it? the lyric "Johnny" is in there?

  • @paulyclos19 nevermind,found it "lonesome johnny blues"

  • its amazing how generations adapt to styles and sounds. love it, but why are the kids these days trying to bring back the 80's. the 80's was full on spandex and hair bands, no one wants that.

  • Sherman Oaks to be exact...

  • Was on me honeymoon in 1994 and got off the L.A. traffic jam packed hi-way to let the traffic thin. Went into a record store to pass the time. This song was playing. Never heard it b4 or since till just now. I thought it must have been some local band's recording or something. Thought they were saying "you're a trash girl.." Never forgot it. Thought I'd type it in on Google and...Voila!.. (very catchy).

  • @helovedbigbrother111 you had to search the world over... ;)

  • This song reminds me of a girl I met on a bus between Derry and Galway; she had frizzy red hair, beautiful blue eyes, and a sexy little body in tight jeans. I thought she had to be Irish, but it turned out she was from Italy. I got to talkin' to her, but when I got closer peeyew! She had major BO. It wasn't even fresh BO, it was stale, weeks-old BO. It smelled like homeless people without the smell of booze. Talk about a boner-shrinker.

  • @lsnows

Hey man, you just got to dive into that stinky muff. It'll put some hair on your chest.

  • In the 90's I saw the 30 minute version of this song when they opened for Primus. it was classic.

  • @natman810 The Greek Theater, right? I was there too!! Ive been hooked on Cracker ever since!

  • I just accidentally clicked euro trash girl by chicks on speed and almost tied a noose

  • Awesome American music

  • johhny got some great chops, great american band!

  • The accordion is a nice touch! Adds a European feel to the song!

  • Where's the bass player?

It's the heart and soul of the music.

  • You can hear the bass line clearly...it's there but just not shown on camera.

  • Yeah Johnny's great! One of my favorites - loved this band! They still playing??

  • one of the best songs ever. ....meant to be sung poorly.

  • I love this so much. Johnny Hickman is great, and deserves more credit!

  • Love it!

  • How GOOD is that.

  • ?okokokok

  • Hey Cracker Fans - THe Brand New Cracker Album is available May 5th, 2009. It is called - Sunrise in The Land of Milk and Honey - check out the NEW VIDEO - Turn On Tune In Drop Out - right here on youtube.

  • Man, Kerosene Hat is such an awesome album!

  • i never knew this was a cover by chicks on speed. or did these guys cover them?

  • original artist playing here.

  • As Mr.Burns would say..EXCELLENT!!!

  • Awesome song and

    Awesome Band!!!!

  • how much would your mom charge me for having her blow my dog Barbos' cock?

your mom does blow cocks, doesn't she?

  • god what a moron I am I was gonna say.

I sit all day in front of computer making stupid remarks and curse people all day long because I was malested by my dad many times when I was a child.

And niggers havd once raped my poor polish mother.

  • The lead singer is a real douche...i saw them in concert they played 4 songs and dude said "i think we are on the wrong state" then proceeded to leave

  • Xavier that's because they're Crackers

  • well, then some people just didn't appreciate..and who wants to play for that? go to see bands who play hits for all...

  • this song kicks ass -- it was a hidden track on Kerosene Hat. Saw them in 1993 in a small tavern in Salt Lake City, when Counting Crows opened for them. LONG LIVE CRACKER

  • i like cracker's music and i also like the members, they were very nice when i met them in germany.

    awsome song!

  • So awesome.

  • amazing song. all time great.

  • bacan...que bacan.... muy buena canción-!!! .. Cracker Euro-trash Girl..

  • I disagree with the comment about cracker following nirvana, I was inspired musicly by cracker first. They had a desert sound, I lived in arizona. It fit my soul. Nirvana was good too then, but cracker was totally different in my ear.

  • Camper Van Beethoven as well.....way before Nirvana.

  • The Meat Puppets are the ultimate Ariizona desert band!

  • GREAT song! thnx for posting.

  • very underrated band. I have a few of their cds and they are all good.

  • kerosine hat is an very underrated album from the 90's

their Grateful Dead cover of Loser is great, but alot of great

tracks and good memories - let the morphine sooth my

    hurting heart!

  • I forgot some of the great bands from the nineties and now that most new music sucks, I'm reliving these bands again. Thanks for the video!

  • great version of the song

  • OHH MAN when i 1st heard this song i went 'n bought the CD..wasn't on their..THANKS 'n GRACIOUS 4 POSTING AWESOME..from a BIG MUSIC FAN..this a BAND and SONG that will 4ever be w/me..that i know...the summer i heard it..WOW!!!

  • It's on the Kerosene Hat cd - but it's a "hidden" track. Track number 69 IIRC.

  • Thanks for the post,Brings back memories.Todays music sucks!

  • If I had to pick one song to hear continuously for the rest of my life, this would most certainly be it.

  • great song man this band is sooooo under rated.

  • Thank you for this!

  • I think it was Burroughs who said what junkies really suffer from is excess of time. This is great quality, tx 4 this.

  • Hey Aaron, awesome post and really great liner notes. YOu're a gen behind me, worked in college radio in the early 80s but discovered Cracker mid/late 90s. But I still go through a similar kind of awe from their music. The best ones are the ones they'll never play in concert. I will fucking die if I ever saw them play Dr. Bernice. Hope to get to Pioneertown Campout this year, so I can corner Dave & request it!

Great video post. Really mean that, clean and tight, no glitches. Great job!

  • I'm with ericpossum in that I lived this song also, eurotrash girl gets her walking papers on 5-21-08!!!Freedom be mine!!!!

  • I have lived this song, thanks for the memories

  • Thanks. This takes me back to a better time and mindset!

  • bringin' back some memories... great song thanks for posting!

  • These guys RULE!!

  • try also: Low Spark of High Heeled Boys by Traffic

  • The 'character' in this song is looking for a prostitute and has the worst luck ever.. ^_^

  • hate to break the news, but he's not on a quest for a hooker. he's looking for the type of girl he's always heard about from Europe, the type that differs from your average vanilla American girl

  • Absolutely!!! Russian Girls Rock! Been there done that!!

  • Great song, I remember the first time I heard it. I used to set my alarm to start 5:45AM (15 minutes before Howard Stern came on). I woke up to this song and laid in bed for the entire song amazed at how great the song was.

  • First off, if you want to really piss off David Lowery, just go ahead and call him Dave. Second, although David currently lives in Richmond, neither he nor anyone in the band is from Richmond. David and Johnny Hickman are from Redlands, CA. Kenny Margolis, Sal Maida and Frank Funaro are all from NYC.

These guys are the real deal. Anyone who doesn't appreciate them simply doesn't know what real music sounds like. They continue to make great music, 16+ years after their start-up album.

  • real deal... referring to music?

    just checking, lolz.

they aren't meh favourite band, but yea i likz them.

  • what other "real deal" would you think I referring to if not music???

  • Still a great band, but the vibe has diminished greatly since Dave fired Brandy Woods. she was not only a great bass player, but her voice was a big part of the show. And come on, singing "it ain't gonna lick itself" is too damn funny.

  • very underrated band. I have a few of their cds and they are all good.

  • This is so weird...

I knew this song by punx soundcheck and other electroclash band that covered this song but it's called euro trash boy...

weird, weird, who would say it was a cover...

  • I bought Kerosene Hat about 10 or so years ago and it totally rocks. It reminds me somewhat of "Let it Bleed" and kind of has a "stonesy" country-honk feel.

  • Great song, great band.

  • probably one of the best songs. i'm glad that dave lowery and the camper and cracker boys are making songs and shows again

  • this album fucking rocks!

  • Saw them in Denver last year - Camper Van and Cracker show combined. Fantastic. What a trip down memory lane.

Where, Where the Hell is Bill?

  • Cracker's live shows never disappoint and it's a tragedy to see them so underrated by the music industry. Keep rockin' guys, you've got my support.

  • Found their Kerosene Hat in a Boston CD store in 1993 and fell in love inmediately with their music. I can´t understand why they haven´t reached a wider audience. I am from Argentina and own a CD store and every time I play this record, I inmediately sell it.

  • i would luv to hear green day or lb play this song right

  • ...wanting green day to make a song better.......hmmmmm....interesting.

  • this is played the right way. its thier song.

  • CRACKER IS LOVE

  • finally get to see them

  • great song!

  • I'm gettin' obsessed about this song! Great one.

  • Cracker is soooooooooo underrated. What I get disappointed in is that they are from Richmond, VA and rarely play VA concerts.

  • Dave is from Richmond...I saw them play the Flood Zone ~ 1990 just after CVB disbanded, and there were about 20 people in the audience. I got there early to get tickets thinking it would be sold out.

I lived in Richmond at the time and the size of the audience said a lot about the musical "taste" of that town at that time...probably still

  • to be honest, he prefers to not be called dave, but david. from what i hear at least.

    just a note.

  • Absolutely beautiful. Awesome job!!
