Read all the fuel economy tips you want, but remember they are just tips. If you want significantly better mileage, I think it's better to add simple bolt on modifications to allow the engine to breathe easier.

Good video lots of good points. I feel there is lots of efficiancy to be gained in people just changing some of thier driving habits. More so than in technology updates. If MPG tracking helps people do that then that is a simple easy start. Maybe in the future more "economy mode" buttons in cars now that the elctronics control throttle position as well as transmission shift points. Could lead to useful help in MPG gains for those who want it without forcing everyone to have it.
