JDM b16 has a higher compression then the U.S B16. i'm running precision sc-61. for a stock b16 229@wheels on Dyno Dynamic is pretty good, since it read 16% lower than other dynos. If it was on a dyno jet or mustang dyno it would have probably read 265@wheels.
hmm... still i promise if you had my buddy tune it you would be making at least 30 more the the wheels... he had a d16 at 450whp no sleeves and it never popped...
lol what a hypocritical statement. The first part was right. PSI does not matter...its CFM that does matter and 7psi does not push the same cfm on every turbo.
"Hypocritical" has no place in your sentence, perhaps "contradicting"? Also would you care to explain to the world exactly how two different turbos can push more or less air with the same manifold pressure. I guess your right, but then again, if you don't understand then you can't be right no matter what. Nice try on both counts though.
called heat. depends on the tempurature at which the air that your discussing. two turbo's while both making 10psi of added pressure, could be done at different tempuratures. and different tempuratures= difference mass of air. so different hp will be gained, depends on such. HINT HINT, how does a intercooler add hp then? seriously, it can vary for more than 1 reason as i just stated.
funny, i thought you were discussing air volume from a turbo. boosting 12lbs of nitrogen is pointless, so saying more volume is better, when a gas takes up any given volume you will let it... so the number of oxygen molecures is really what your after, not this gineric term of volume.... you can have more air in a larger volume... if you cant see that, then stay away from cars.. and maybe learn some fuking mechanics befor you tell someone to pay attention. listen to your own words asshole
You need to learn how to debate. Our discussion has nothing to do with the number of oxygen molecules - if you'd like to discuss how turbo engines really work, then you're welcome to. The simple fact is that I am discussing a single point, and you are ranting on about god knows what. Learn to be relevent, it annoys smart less.
For the third time, the context of the discussion (which you aren't a part of) is about volumetric air flow. Get it through your thick skull. Didn't your mother teach you to stay out of other people's discussions.
yeah she did, but not when its up for the world to see you ass face. wtf is your problem...and when dealing with a fluid or substance that can be compressed like air can, you use the term MASS FLOW not VOLUME FLOW dick head.... My engineering school taught me, not my mom...
When dealing with air I can describe any variables I like - the FACT remains that euphoricrhythm brought up VOLUME flow not mass. You have no case, piss off now and stop making arguments out of NOTHING. My only point thus far has been that volume != mass, you know, basic shit. You seem to be repeating things needlessly for what purpose?
NO, volume does not equal mass. WE both know this, otherwise this conversation would not exist.
volume and mass flow are 2 DIFFEReNT thing. if you DOnt know this, then stop your bullshitting, cause as an engineer who likes to spend time calling other youtubers bullshit, ill call it all day long... either get a real education or stop your bullshit talking... cause anyone who knows anything about air refers to it as MASS flow not VOLUME flow!!!
i never said you implied vol. = mass. you simply were argueing about volume flow in regards to a gas. i stated that it was pointless,. and you replied with 15 posts of garbage only to state that volume is what matters...when its mass...and if you agree, why discuss volume flow rate in regards to a gas???? i just stated it was pointless... you keep bringing it up...
you can make up variables all you like.... I just want you to know, that im calling your bullshit....so either stop responding or ill respond and call your education nothing but bullshit till the day i die... im so sick and tired of yt er's with their fake ass education... so try me ass clown.. i fucking dare you... challenge me on anything automotive and ill school you like a little redheaded step child..ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Make up variables? Are you claiming I can't measure the volumetric flow rate of a gas? Please... Do you have a point to all your replies? You seem pretty keen on reminding me that mass does not equal volume (even though I've repeated now that I agree with this obvious statement). Thanks genius, I (along with everyone else) learned this in high school. Next you'll be telling me 2+2=4, god save us!
arguments out of nothing.... yeah, you spent time working on a project and hand in your results on a volumetric flow rate, and i PROMISE you an F!!! AIr CAN NOT BE DEFINE AS A VOLUME RATE!!, it is a mass rate cuase it can be compressed!!!
You're one of the people that thinks formal education and understanding go hand in hand - you're one of the idiots that sits in the front and asks all the questions because he can't think for himself. People like you annoy me, think you know everything and "call out" any chance you get no matter how out of context. You are a liability; I feel sorry for your employer (if you have one).
and i dont htink formal education and understanding go hand in hand.... you probably do not have both... i could prove it with 1 simple question... i have studies motors for YEARS AND YEARS... i fuking dare you to call my bullshit... your confidence is my amusement... so either challange me, like i hope you will, or back off like a twat that you are or lets discuss the facts on here, if ya dare... so everyone can see how ignorant you are....
More bursts of shit. Do you have a point? You seem to be getting very emotional; smart people don't get frustrated and mouth off like you do. Smart people don't ask random people to "challenge" them. Any idiot can google any question asked, how stupid do you think I am. Stop wasting your time, you argue like a dumb teenager - making insults out of assumptions, your techniques are laughable. What am I ignorant of again?
do you have proof ? and what do you mean stock internals ? eh ? stock injectors ?
I dont beleive you 10 psi 300 WHP on a b16
where do you get your info from ? thats not even 1 bar of boost if you said 15 psi tuned with bigger injectors and a stand alone ecu then maybe but stock naaaahhhhhh bull shit
nice cibic hb.i got a question,..i have a civic whit a b20,,twin cam, short shift, computer for racing, intake, headers, racing clucht...i buy the honda ..you think that my civic can beat a mustang gt stock ..if you can help me whit this .......
no turbo? then NO. You will lose, and lose bad. a mustang gt comes stock at like 250 hp. and even if u could get an all motor honda to hit that hp, which is nearly impossible. especially with your setup, the mustang would kill you beacause of the difference in the torque. hope that answers your question. HONDA. FTW!!!
Iv raced a stock mustang gt and it ran a 14.2 on the 1/4 mile. All motor civics when stripped out have nearish to the same power but weight a lot less, hence why they hit low to mid 13's, i know this coz iv seen it.
wow awesome! but too bad while you're busy thinking you're fast because you chirp tires this car would pull lengths on you. care to elaborate how a 100hp gain on 9psi is shitty??? Nice car.
you gotta remember thats 227hp at the wheels not the crank, the manufacturer says 157/167 etc hp but thats at the crank. You lose power through the gearbox, clutch, shafts etc. So 227hp is pretty good for 9 psi, especially with stock internals. At the crank ill guess its around 260hp.
made 270 on my ls turbo integra,with a 50 trim on 10 punds,slow!

if your hitting that hp with that much boost, your tuner sucks!
I know of people hitting 300whp on a b18c on STOCK INTERNALS!

somebody needs to learn how to tune a car right if it's only making 227hp to the wheels on 9 psi w/ a 60 trim turbo.
