I have successfully connected the LS3578 to the i-Pad & i-Phone using the Bluetooth Keyboard Emulation, but as soon as i have connected the scanner, my virtual keypad disappears.
How can i set up the scanner or the i-Pad so that both the scanner and the virtual keyboard are available to me. Please help!!!
@scansquared I found a fairly easy way to allow the OSK to show on the iPad while using an LS3578. The scanner came with a Programming sheet of barcodes. After all is setup to the iPad, I can get the OSK to appear by scanning the "Cradle Host" barcode, which disables bluetooth on the scanner and allows the OSK. Scan the "Bluetooth Keyboard Emulation" barcode before the next scan and it automatically reconnects to the iPad.
I am not able to find the barcode for bluetooth keyboard emulation and variable pin code on the DS3478 Manual. I tried to use DS3578 codes which didn't work. Can I still connect the DS3478 to the iPad?
Can you please confirm that the MT2070 does pair with the iPad/iPhone and please provide an example video since the process is slightly different, requiring keypad entry of the PIN.
We have not been able to successfully pair the MT2070 with either device, however it does pair with a MacBook Pro using a variable PIN.
How do you keep your ipad/iphone keyboard from disappearing during scanner use? I need to do edits as I scan. Also a CR/LF would be nice.
Thanks!
