As for my comment, there are a ton of Christians that hated the movie too, because it focused on all the wrong things. Rather than being about Jesus and his message for humanity it was just a giant guilt trip, whether it's "how could you Jews do this?" or "how could you not worship after what he did for you?". Ugly, ugly movie.

The reason why His Son died for us was to pay the punishment that we were suppose to get. Now, I don't want to argue with you about religion. There is a more longer explanation on the Passion of Christ, but I don't want to bore you. If you don't believe in God, I cannot force you. All I can tell you is that He loves you more than you hate Him...

Yes, but you don't seem to have the slightest understanding WHY. The purpose of reward/punishment is to condition behaviour. You discipline the child not because they did something bad, but to discourage them from doing that bad thing again (likewise with rewards). An eternal punishment has absolutely zero conditional utility, thus zero point, and is therefore unspeakably evil.
