@D3ADLYCATz first of all learn how to spell you little prick. its *neighbor*. rabbits are pests. they reproduce like crazy and eat alot of my crop. There is a reason to shoot them. All they do is eat everything and shit. And i highly doubt you shot your neighbor with a bb gun.
@changdiddy hey BRO. u shouldnt click on and watch vids that say rabbit hunting if u dont like it. quit your bitchin mother fucker cuz we dont wanna hear it
@clarksetters I am also currently using an hmr and I have a 22-250 rem but I actually prefer the hmr for long range shooting then my 22-250 the Reason being is because I find the hmr is also powerful enough to take out a rabbit at long range while saving the meat If you eat them, If you don't I recommend using the 22-250 for fun shooting at rabbits but If your hunting I find the hmr much better, by the way my hmr is a savage arms so idk if it might be the make or model of the gun that effects y
i am currently shooting an hmr but some of my quarry is to big or out of range i was wondering what you would recomend for longer range varmint controll like a 22.250 or somthing in that range
judging by your shooting i think ill get some good advice
Oh thanks, it's quite confusing all these different calibres ha ha
Only shoot Air Rifles myself on ticket. Looking to maybe venture into using a Rimfire possibly .17 but a good .22 will do all I need. I do a lot of pest control work so a larger round may not be suitable for the land I shoot on.
use subsonic ammo friend, cuz what use of silencer with normal ammo u have still sonicboom then u hear it and its more fun if u only see the impact on target and u know this little pffft^^
Nice shooting, i have a remington M700 in a .17 rem fireball i have shot it accurately out to 400 yards. I want to pick up a .17 rem just to have one, what grain bullet you shoot out of it. I load my own fireball ammo and get around 4200 fps with 20 grain bullets. and 4000 with 25 grainers.
Only 25 grains at that range? That makes it even more impressive. To be honest I wouldn't have attempted this even with my Tikka 6.5x55 but I guess it's down to confidence and ability + good quality glass at the end of the day. Inspiring. A+++
4050 fps FUCK that would turn tissue into gas at that velocity. hows the accuracy i may buy one now? the fastest cal i have is 270 win mag at 3050 fps 130-140 grain 4050 fps on rabbits shit the hydra shock would break all the bones, ps nice vid post more

What's the name of that silencer mate, look massive but affective. Also, is it meant for the .17?
ThePhan7em 9 months ago

ThePhan7em 10 months ago
@ThePhan7em .17 caliber . its basically a .223 Remington case necked down to accept a .17 caliber bullet.

what is the fps of the 17 rem and do you burn barrels out?
98209276 1 year ago
Hi - my rifle launches a 25 grain pill at 4050 fps - they are not real barrel eater as long as you dont shoot em till they glow.

HI Accuracy is superb - easily good enough to head shhot bunnies at 300 yards.
Check out my video of the 17 rem at 515 yrds
Cheers

Just wondering what grain bullet the 17 Rem likes most and what you guys are using? Outstanding display as always. A++++

Hi - the bullet used here are 25 grain burger hollow point. - very explosive and accurate little pill.

that howling wind must have a lot of drift on you 17. how much compensation in inches did you adjust on that one? just curious
2xtrmshot 1 year ago
@2xtrmshot its suprising how the wind does not effect the 17 rem as its so fast!!! It does get affected but not as much as people think ! :-)
247sniper 1 year ago
@2xtrmshot
I think it was over 12 inches of windage required , quite alot in that wind.
Cheers
