I was an Israeli soldier who quit after serving in demonstrations like this one, I was ordered to fire live and rubber bullets at innocent civilians and children. And I can say honestly that the vast majority of these demonstrations are completely non-violent, with stones being the only weapon when available. This is simply because the Palestinians stand no chance at being violent, the IDF has M16s.

1. the camera is turned on and off and of course this video is edited, so you can't really know how violent this protest was or wasn't.

2. the Israeli soldiers are not shooting bullets - it's tear gas, meant to spread the people out, since they were breaking the law, by being somewhere they are not supposed to be.

As always, it's REALLY easy to view one side of the conflict and then state opinions and put the blame on one side.
