I'm on google maps outside my work. I was walking across the street while they drove by. They blur your face though if its too detailed.

That's also one of the google cars that has been illegally downloading info and passwords from peoples wifi networks all over the world, forget big brother.... google is watching you

@Superphilipp apparently you can, it's been all over the BBC news teletext service lately that the Google maps car was sucking up info as it drove around the streets, some engineer put a piece of code in that downloaded info as it drove around, including browser histories, and it decrypted passwords as well, google has been ordered to hand over the data collected in a couple of nations to the Gov.

@Superphilipp do a news search for the words "Google street view password", they also published the picture and the address of a battered woman's refuge and then ignored emails and letters from the refuge to take down the info, putting the residents of the refuge at potential risk from ex-partners.
