  • LOL! I love Barbara. She's great! She's really a cool old lady! Unlike what a lot of people think of her and view her as.

  • Bitch I know how you feel politically.,...girl please.

  • i've read on wikipedia that she has spoken hardly against catholics : why ? what did she say ? does anyone knows about that ?

  • She hasn't taken any Botox injections, has she?

  • @mmmmmmmmmm9999 I don't think she has. And good on her. :)

  • I just finished her book and she is one fascinating lady. My opinion changed about her so much. Read the book....I'm sure you will enjoy it. Neat lady...

  • I've been reading her memoir the last few days. It's fascinating and very, very good. Charlie Rose is the best interviewer, he really lets a person of achievement relax to the point of being his or herself. No one else does that. (Maybe Barbara does but her interviews are so short.)

  • Walters and Rose are just a couple of diversionary tools chiseling around the snouts of the big hogs. They're sold to you as a part of the circus that is real.

  • how come you hear so many stories about how arrogant she is to people she does not need to kiss up to?....read "ahead of the curve" by philip delves broughton...reminds me of henry kissinger-- if they need you they will kiss up to you...her maid must have many great stories to tell...

  • i love Barbara! she's amazing.

  • She is of the few that actually successfully make Charlie "shut-up" and listen...THANK GOD FOR BARBRA!!! The one of few that can make Charlie Rose STOP INTERRUPTING!!!!!!

  • Glad to see Charlie Rose featured on Youtube! And what a great interview.

  • I don't know why I watched time, I want my 5 minutes back!

  • Hey... no one forced you, so we don't owe you a thing.

  • I have the utmost respect for Barbara!

  • Barbara Walters visited Syria and said that their dictator was a charming and outgoing man. Does this do anything to dismember her credibility?

  • Barbara says nice things about everyone actually. She said nice things about Fidel Castro. I believe she is the kind who really tries to avoid conflict. Notice all the times shit goes down on the View she isn't there usually.

  • The book was wonderful. She's wonderful.

I only watch one daytime show, "The View"..

I like the group that does the show now.

I she says she doesn't reveal her politics

publically, but if you read the book and see

who she dated, you pretty much know she's

republican, I'm sorry to say. But I still

    like her....open, honest....God bless, her

life was not an easy one.

  • Are you joking? You think Barbara Walters is a Republican!!??!?!? She is the most liberal, feminist woman as can be found on television.

  • You can be a feminist and be a republican. She

is still a woman. Read the book. Her partners were Sen. Brooke, Mass. Rep., Republican activist Tex McCrary, Alan Greenspan diehart Republican to name a few.

Seriously whs, take the time to read her book.

  • But it doesn't matter what your parents are because each has their own opinion..i strongly agree Barbara is a Democrat.

  • Hi. Could you tell me what is the male counterpart to the female's feminist?

  • ammm machismo?

  • siniminie: so why do feminists are so against macho men? Aren't they allow to be what they are, ,just as much as "feminists" permit themselves to be feminists? W

  • well, of course macho men are allowed to be what they are, but in some cultures (many cultures and places) macho men are persons that violate women rights in such awful ways, like hitting or mistreat them (like in Mexico), so thats why feminists are so against them.

but i personally think that there shouldnt exist those groups, because men and woman are supposed to respect each other, so i dont c

  • ...i dont consider myself as feminist or in favor with macho men. (:

  • Supposed?

  • well they have to!

  • Oh...I get that. But I think that we are heading back to a modern barbarism of sorts. And "have to" doesn't work anymore. Both sexes are too stubborn with foolish pride to be smart enough.

  • By the way Jennifer Lynn Masaryk Ellis is the person who set up the interview with Al Sharpton and Charlie Rose back in 2004.

  • I love Barbara Walters. I have so much admiration for this incredible person and her unwaivering dignified devotion to her trade! Respect.

  • I see that in Barbara. She has always been auditioning and that obviously is a key element to her success. Barbara has never taken her roles for granted.
