the intro has the same first 3 chord progressions as sonic youths mote. Girls resolves the fourth differently so I guess it can't be a rip off of mote right. LOLZ.

Imagine the day where bands point out similar riffs and chords progressions to other bands, before playing the song. You know to protect themselves from hipsters, hipster insurance. So they won't run up on stage and cite every band reference you just made in a song completely debasing your originality.
