  • Lol the pigeon almost put two and two together before I did. ;)

  • I believe Vygotsky also did an experiment with a child and a stool. The child used private speech to talk out loud and problem solve how to reach what he needed.

  • can't it fly?

  • @agenccc it's wings were cut

  • Wow. The pigeon is smarter than most users on youtube!

  • @mku17ra Not intelligence, just conditioning.

  • @forkjuice Let's suppose that it had been conditioned to move the box, and to peck at the banana, and maybe even stand on it. We have at least two learned tricks + distance and height involved. It had to put the events in the correct sequence on its own in order to get its goal.

It's likely it did this a million times before, but that's not what they've shown us here.

I think the superstitious pigeon would be a better example of conditioning.

Correct me (you, or the poster) if I am wrong

  • that is amazing.. although why can't the pigeon just fly? :/

  • @NinjaFishyz

Cos it is not a Harrier Jump Jet aircraft my friend =)

it needs an enough space and area to jump and fly.

and all so that Pigeon can not use its peak to hold something while flying

    :)

  • wow
