Can someone explain to me why a 0M00 beats a 1M00 cause I'm seriously starting to get pissed off trying to learn how the hell this works.If what they said about the rules is true then my card should have taken theirs but it didn't and I'm really fucking confused now.Does each different face card have a different power or something?

Also, sort of pointless to say it now, as I've understood it, it's "Attack|Type|Defense|Defense". The numbers that is - P being Physical, M being Magical. Attack is good, and so is defense.
It is sort of confusing, but I've played this game loads, when I was a kid! I wish it also existed irl, so I could battle my friends and family (or walk up to a stranger and say "CARDS, NOW!" and we'd just start playing Tetra Master).
In FFVIII It took me like 120 hrs+ to complete the game. Most of the time I spent getting a copy of every card in the game just to get that gold star next to the word 'card' in the menu. lol.
1st number = card lv/hp 2nd letter attack type m =magic p=physical x= attacks the opponents weakest defense A = attacks thier weakest defense with your cards strongest digit 3rd number physical defense 4th number magical defense
oh and btw why the hell do u have crap cards at lindblum i had the alexandria card and the genji card and the feather circle card and other mint stuff like them
what is the purpose of playing tetra master?I mean,in ff8 the card can teach abilities to gf's and to learn different spells for junction,but in ff9,tetra master,what is the purpose?what is the beneffit to play tetra master???

Ohhh reading gamefreaks comment i am pretty sure Triple Triad was in FFVIII. That makes sense, i get the final fantasy's confused. Yeah i like tetra master much more than Triple Triad though.
hmm i could have sworn it was called Triple Triad in FFIX, and played on a 3x3 board. Now i am confused. I play Tetra master for PC though, its still a lot of fun even though there are only a handful of players =|... I encourage everyone to join, its only 1$ a month.

@mrisump It actually did, but it was prohibitively expensive, due to the fact that cards can grow in strength over wins, 'n' things.

M beats P
M(Magic)
P(Physical)
The numbers are levels
There's also a letter X, I think it beats M and gets beaten by P
(I don't know what X stands for lol)
