  • i love the hebrew prayer chorus with the words fading in stronger Shemo Nikra

  • love this track makes u think huh

  • 7 People, should not return.

  • Stoupe is the reason Rip the Jacker is my fav album by Canibus

  • @QUBECOGNITO The future

  • There shouldn't be a dislike button on this video.

  • @YewTubeUsername so true. one of my favorite canibus songs. do u know the verses are based on the three wise monkeys who embody the proverbial principle to "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil". in the 1st verse he dies not being able to hear anything. in the 2nd verse he dies while him and the man are speaking and in the 3rd verse he dies while him and that woman look in2 eachother eyes. i dont know why he chose that concept tho. do you. ive also learnt this song is metaphor of how the

  • @rakimkoolgrapwutang (cont) music industry treated him

  • @QUBECOGNITO as far as i know, they're all made up, they're just cool fucking short stories.

  • A true scientist. I always wanted a video for this joint. Hands down one of the greatest records of all time.

  • fucking lithuanian idiots edited this song to sing about Emo ..

  • hiya

  • @bootlegVlVizard STOOOOOOOOUPE!

  • Who said Canibus isn't a good storyteller? This is a great song. The entire song is actually about him trying to save Hip-Hop (Metaphors). 3 verses - 3 situations.

  • @8uLleTpRooF damn for real?? i understood the three tales but why do you think its about hip hop? cuz thats really interesting!

  • @TheGrinfucked

Just break down the lyrics and listen closely. Every tale is a metaphor of what happened to him in the industry. Canibus is a genius.

  • canibus is a legend fuck the mainstream

  • One of the illest stroy tracks ever. 3 stories all metaphorically discribing his trials and tribulations in the music industry up to that point. The "death" of his career.

All the events in the stories are also metaphors for things that happened to him.

I also enjoy the way the deaths happened - hear no evil, speak no evil and see no evil.

Greatest rapper ever. Who cares about record sales. All that matters is whats in your headphones and how much you enjoy it.

  • @jeffrodigital damn i love this song and never picked up on it! genius!

  • That last verse is about the first responders of 9/11 I think. He is the best rapper alive and currently.

  • ...word

  • THE LAST LINE OF THE SONG GIVES ME CHILLS EVERYTIME

  • somethign devil something !

  • Love this track!!

  • stoupe is a fukn genius. canibus is dope too. HA! see what i did there??

  • @UltraFadednwK ur a genius.

  • @Patrick112391 he IS god. well atleast close to it.

  • degresssing isn't a word you dumbass.. regressing, canibus wouldn't want you to comment on this video

  • this is a nice instrumental

  • David Gould - Adon Olam

  • @rakimthegod1 Not sure what you're saying exactly..... please explain because you don't respect those who don't respect..... and honor? Have you seen mainstream... there is no honor, and as far as defeat he has never seen it. He doesn't abide by the "hip-hop world" the "hip-hop world" abides by him, He is Fuck credibility and he does shine to people that want to hear him.... why would you act like going mainstream is a good thing....

  • @Nosoop4yu You can't just believe everything Canibus says. I've heard he lost once to Killah Priest in a rap battle when he was in his late teens. "I don't rep hip hop hip hop reps me". Canibus isn't perfect like any other person. He'd love to be making money and have his music known. But even though he doesn't have the best marketing schemes, he's the best rapper.

  • @HallucinogenicEmcee ???? It really isn't even worth giving you the real information... you have no idea what you're talking about..

  • @Nosoop4yu Ok if you say so bro.

  • The instrumental version by DJ Stoupe is great as well.

  • He good but he got such a bad temperament

His dissings toward LL or Em are just stupid

It's clearly to get attention, witch he doesn't get

So it's kinda pityfull for someone with such talent

  • @Drabytt "clearly to get attention" First off dumb ass what started the LL and Canibus beef?

  • @d0zi7 well, no need to insult me

It's still stupid to diss people who got the same talent but get more attention

That's called " Hatin' " and that was my message

But like you say I don't know what started the beef

    I just heard the disses

    Enlighten me

  • @Drabytt Bis is better than L or any of the other rappers people listen to nowadays.LL and Bis were collabing. The track is called 4321. Look up Bis' original verse. Canibus gave him a shoutout about his tattoo. So LL was mad w/ his big ego but said Canibus had to redo it without that. So bis did. Then L did his verse using the whole verse to diss Bis. He redid it but it was leaked. There was a lot of pressure. N you can check the fone call. L took advantage of him youll really see. look it up

  • @HallucinogenicEmcee thanks, well I saw it (by the way 4321 is a sick song)

  • @Drabytt No problem.

  • @Drabytt u don know what started the beef right? get u facts right before commenting stupid

  • @Drabytt

Canibus dissed LL for being a bitch. The TRUE reason for his beef with Eminem is still unclear to me.

  • I love this track and the Jewish song sampled is Great....... cannibus is genius ....

  • canibus is an uniq artist. i love rap but the shit what people make these day! im getting so sick of people who still think that hiphop is like drake lil waine and 50 cent and stuff. but those lyrics make no scence. rythem an poetry is dead and every one should know that, theres no more biggie, eazy, 2 pac immortal techniques cannibus.. you know the guys...

  • Lyrically, it doesnt get much better than this.

  • id like to know what kind of drugs LL & eminem were on .... how can they step to Bis when they cant even c him

  • after the 90's the game changed, good rappers forgot their roots, and all the legends died prematurely. its a damn shame life is like a sad movie.

  • Love this guy, listening to his cd's is like reading a book, most of them full of story's.

  • dis is the dude who got in a beef wit eminem? who won?

  • @FlaiteOne this dude won, hands down

  • At least respect the lyrics. Dude is telling a deep story especially at the end. What other kind of genre of music would do that

  • What's the hook?? Can somebody post the lyrics; there's no way to find 'em!

  • @Tensssin are you talking about the kids singing in the background? that's a jewish, it's in hebrew, and this is how it goes :

Adon olam, asher malach, beterum cal yitzir nivra, l'ace naseh becheftzo col, azai melech shmo nikra -- the translation is "master of the world, who ruled before he created anything, at the time that his desire is fufilled he will be named king"

i had a laugh hearing this in the background, anyway was that what u were reffering to? or something else?

  • hey is great with the lyrics

  • This is the shit I grew up listening to....this and wu-tang

  • he's good but gangstarr is better

  • This is some hectic story the lyrical legend is getting across is anyone smart enough to understand each song he releases? doubt it

  • he is a genius keeping it real fuck you haters

  • they slept on him

  • 'i blinked for the last time and never saw her again'...daaaamn that was good

  • like so many prodigal figures in history such as da vinci and mozart, canibus' brilliance will not be acknowledged till after his passing. little do we know we all are bearing witness to a true hip-hop prophet who scripts masterpieces in his pad. keeping doing your thing bis, your music will live on forever.

  • in my opinion eminem is garbage. but this guy is something else he is a lyrical machine, that never needs tune ups

  • this nigga and eminem both have read the entire dictionary thats crazy that would be hard to do but both of them have done it quite a few times and studyed every word both of them are genious

  • CanIbuS and Stoupe da enemy of mankind 2 of the illist!!!!

  • this song made me realize tht even in ur dreams u dont see how u die

i always wake up which is weird

  • SIC TRACK

  • stoupe on the track... perfect

  • His rymes are love♥

  • The Chorus is the prayer that Jews sing before they read the Torah at the synagogue.

  • @LiquidFilter What they sing to finish prayers on Shabbat.

  • Actually its sung after the Torah is read.

  • Can someone write the lyrics of the chorus? My english is not very good and I can't understand that they sing.

  • @Radjuk they sing Adon Olam asher malach b'terem kol y'tzir nivra.

    L'ait na-asah v'cheftzo kol azai melech sh'mo

nikra. from a song called adon olam but i dunno shit what it means tho

  • @heavymusic1scool Lol, I thought it's english :) Thanks

  • legendary track legendary beat ....canibus rips all rappers fo sure!

  • if i brought any of these anys there would they know what they talk behind these walls i spit answer is for itself

  • Mann...this guy can tell a story!!!!

  • fuk man

i should of been listening to this rather than these other so called rappers

i didnt bother listening to this kat cuz his beef with em

but fuk tht ths guy is dope the first verse is soo dope with lyrical madness tht i still

dont kno wat he is talkin about

    Jamaicans FTW

  • breath of fucking fresh air... the three verses are best ive ever heard( you can imagine u in that position right before death) this shit is TOUGH!!!!!!!!

  • this man tells story better than any author.

  • "I happened to be his favorite emcee

i said for real, that's crazy"

lol ,he said crazy kinda funny

  • i fucking love the melody in this song.

  • Cannabis is a lyrical monster no doubt.... but he cant make a hook for shit

  • @dedb0y That may be true, but so what? A hook is good for getting people to notice a song on the radio, etc, but most of Canibus's verses will do that. I'm not allowed to listen to a new Canibus album for the first time anymore while driving because I start paying to much attention to what he's saying. lol

  • For someone that's not known really for their storytelling, this shit is ill as hell. Canibus is one of if not the best lyricist hip-hop has ever heard too bad LL blackballed him.

  • i have no idea, how any person can say anything about cannibus thats not positive, ..idiots. Cause he don't sell records? wow. The world will end in our lifetime, the world is too ignorant to move forward. Rap is so bad, it's making the kids dumb. It makes me sick to think of "rap" "hip hop" nowadays, it angers me. When time moves forward we are supposed to learn from our history, rap should be progressing, not degressing. It's so sad.

  • @SK828 Dude that was amazing! its my new fb status. But its true, music nowadays is only popular because it sounds cool or has a catchy tune. regardless of how stupid the lyrics are.

  • Comment removed

  • @SK828

    nicely said

  • @SK828 i totally agree with you, i couldn't say it better....

  • @SK828 True that!

  • Why cant they play this on the radio? Shit just as long as they play the third verse that would be cool with me.

  • without a doubt canibus has the biggest word range of any rapper to live, his lyrics are fuckin sick. just a shame he surrounded himself with shit, apart from rip the jacker. let's hope he can achieve his potential cos if he don't then we've been robbed.

  • @thereturnofda111 in all honesty i agree but rip the jacker wasnt personally made. he was on his military trip at that time and the verses were already recorded they had to produce tracks around the bars. ina scene he'll never be able to write to beats cause they dont match the quality of his verses.

  • This song is tight. Beat and lyrics are crazy. If you don't want to expand your mind and be open, then you might not feel canibus. What's great about his music to me is that it forces me to research to gain understanding cause he does possess a vast arsenal of subject matter. As a person, i get more out of empowering my mind with "deep" lyrics than i do out of a punch line heavy rhyme. I do like it all, but i respect the level of time one puts in to be knowledgeable lyrically the way Bis is.

  • great job, with the lyrics across the screen, that is dope indeed. It would be a perfect world, if all the songs on youtube were presented, like this.

  • Mathematic essay formated, /thesis stated,/or off top raw with side bet flow/ I comment with the pros. Canibus exist in high weight class of hip hoppers. It is only a known few who can smash with him. Eminem is one of those writers that can stand weight with him creating and MCing; of course there are others, KRS ONE, WU-TANG&Affiliates, BUSTA RYMS, MOS DEF, OUTKAST,ETC and a few hot underground artist like IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE are few of the known talented smashing MCs in the game.

  • Canibus , Big L, Xzibit and 2pac fo life ..

  • 1. Pac

    2. Nas

    3. B.I.G.

    4. ?

    5. Canibus

  • @demopley why are pac and B.I.G. in there? they had lots of influence on the rap game I agree, but if you look at they're tracks, B.I.G. is an amazing battlerapper and Pac... really, he has lots of great tracks, but looooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaads of wack stuff

I'd put Sapient in there somewhere, he's a freaking genius on the mic, Killah Priest too and ILL Bill, he is a damn versatile MC

  • @YoungDirtyCwalk

Why would I put Pac and B.I.G on top 5? "The greatest rapper of all time died on March 9th." Do you know who said that? Though I'd say the greatest rapper died on September 13th. You have to look at how dynamic Pac and B.I.G were -- put together all their work and then you will understand.

  • @demopley Add Big L in 4 ..

  • @demopley Whats this..,i see math in a possible rating of popular artist, rated top five most popular, or albums sold, or mainstream. It sure cannot be a rating of talent because if it is the order has been scrambled.

  • I was injected with Sodium thiopental and questioned. Damn!

  • Canibus is a creative genius. Sadly such as his probably won't be truly appreciated until after hes gone.

  • canibus killed it on this track

  • man cabibus is so deep if u aint a Intellectual u can;t like his music because you can't understand him canibus is one of the greatest mc's of all time

  • @cambiarakanasu i completely agree :) canibus is the man

  • Canibus should make more story songs like this so that he is seen as more versatile.

  • hes rappin about terrorists and 9/11? ;o

  • @MrBlenderMan He's actually rapping about his career. He just uses current events to tell the story.

  • Canibus kills it again and again. A lyrical genius very few can touch. Fucking love this shit it gives me chills....

  • @KingDonko word hes one of the greats..

  • dang this is sooo creative and deep.

  • Currently a favorite to burn to.

  • @klynik great minds think alike...

  • Canibus got me thru college. I felt like such a smarty-pants listening to this stuff, haha.

  • hahaa are There really people out there who think this Guy is bad??????

You People Are Craaaazy hahaha, This Dude Has Lyrics this is a Hip-Hop Mc

    Respect Canibus!

  • I'm one who usually despises rap but I love this guy.

  • Yo faggots say hes the best, but y'all don't even know what he spits haha.. You just assume he is the best because you hear all kinds of metaphors, and advanced words haha.. I know he is the best...y'all bitches assume..

  • @Oneshot2shot sall good man, your head turn toward those who express ignorance isn't that great either bro? you can't down musical inspiration or and exempt to enjoy something just because there understanding is limited? you don't have to pretend to be the one lone fan... either way I don't need to swear at you to

bring you down to the level of the people.

  • He knows too much!!!

  • no matter what haterz say,he's a lyrical genius

  • Canibus is one of the illest rappers to ever walk

  • Thats shitty man, but atleast It went to a good artist!!

  • Is it really? This is my favorite Canibus song and the beat was really an anomaly for him, it being a truly musical accompaniment that actually completed his lyricism.

  • I probably am. But I still haven't found anyone who could tell me what the hell Canibus is talking about. Everytime I ask, people usually just give me some vague explanation, like Joesire.

  • It is basically things that humans do or can do to destroy things to the extent that it is almost reversible; like killing as he explained in 2.23 and in 3.29 - 4.14.

We humans should try to be good to one another as much as we can.

  • @Vibalist You stupid or something? of course no one can tell you, I understand what hes talking about, but wouldn't be able to give you a proper explanation, or yes i would, it would take a long time though. You gotta understand it yourself, not just ask some randome dickhead. Why can't people learn how to do shit themselves nowadays, you seem like you're from Amerika/Uk wwhatever you should be able to manage it. If not, you need to work on your intelligence.

  • Canibus is the Beginning and the End of Lyrics.. DOPENESS AT WORK

  • Lyrical Genius `

  • You got to respect the lyrical approach to this type of rap. Hats of ;)

  • he sucks???? He is a lyrical machine! Canibus is one of the best rappers alive....thats not my opinion it's a fact.

  • @CrushJehovah I know what you do not know.

  • @CrushJehovah

    chuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurch!!!!

  • @CrushJehovah Canibus is One of the Greatest MC Ever, I can only name a few MC's who are better (not Eminem) and Rakim is the only dude who could compare and is the best.

  • @CrushJehovah YES, IT IS A CERTIFIED FACT.

  • @CrushJehovah Lol at your username.

  • dope

  • Love this beat. This album was produced by Stoupe The Enemy Of Mankind. One of the illest Hip-Hop producers. He's known for working and being part of Jedi Mind Tricks.

  • this is canibus best song

  • Love this fukkin beat

  • So you're saying just cuz you don't get it, nobody else can understand it either. Cuz we're all as slow as you? Is that what I heard?

  • Tell me what his lyrics are about, then. And not just some broad definition, but word for word.

  • To understand canibus you have to have knowledge of different points views.

Many people consider ignorant people that dont think for themselves and do whatever is the new trend "Sheeple", or slaves or robots.

I had more to say but it did not go through. But basically he is calling the fools who gangbang and sell drugs all day in the projects robots. They go through the same routine daily and are not really thinking. No soul. just like a robot. An organic robot that bleeds when shot

  • @Vibalist Hear no evil see no evil speak no evil

  • I believe you're not supposed to find an exact message here, it's just dope moviescript storytelling.

  • My rhynes attack like a shotgun

    Sending chills down ya spine
