Anyone could get good with the shoto characters. It's may be easier than most characters to master shoto characters. Daigo isn't good for picking a shoto. What makes him one of the best is his composure and how he can adapt to almost anything.
I don't rely on anything I just keep the pressure up, tech, and counter your moves... I don't even need to corner because from my perspective against me your cornered even in the open... If you leave an opening or make a mistake I'll be there to punish you for it... and you can count on ending up on the ground...

In 3s Makoto was an formidable opponent, becuz the parry system strengthened her pressuring-attributes. Sf4 with the focus system and SRK shotcuts makes her suck cuz she cant maintain pressure.
Sf3s endorses weaker characters giving the players the chance 2 use them 2 their full (hidden) potential. While sf4 screws over chars that dont have projectiles or a solid Guard break (like claw). I like ssf4, but come on! >:0

@asganashi Yeah I know, but I think she became top tier mainly becuz of her focus break on EX Hayate and her faster dash. Helped her out a lot! Imo Yang is the more balanced twin in both 3s and AE, but Yun design is pretty broken. Too many knockdown and damaging free combo options in both games. Pretty glad they rebalanced AE and hope to see a rise in the number of low tier players.
Had Ino took the numerous opportunities to use Makoto's command throw (followed by a Fierce then EX/Hayate or super), I'm sure the match would have been somewhat different.
I'll show you top tier, get on GGPO I'll turn your butt into whip cream. Your butt is going to be sore after I'm done with you. You better have a good belt on, I'ma pants you on the first round and spank that butt.
Top tiers are, in order, Yun, Chun, Ken. Yun and Chun have been switching spots for quite a few years.
Makoto, Dudley, Yang and Urien are high tier characters, not top. And recently people are saying dudley is above makoto, making her the 5th from top to bottom.
@SukiyakixD AFAIK in the last list from arcadia (which is from SBO 2010) Makoto is in third place and ken in fourth, but the difference in points are so small that whatever.
He's the best punisher in the game by a generous margin. He can punish moves that are designed to be safe, like shoto crouching fierce or alex's EX slash elbow. Shippu is a ridiculously overpowered super in every area but damage.
He's also the only character that has both overhead and low confirms to super, besides dudley, which means that he has the best 50-50 game of any character. Ever wonder why Ken always gets like 3 grabs in a row in the corner? It's because people are so afraid they block

It isn't very good in her game, it's kinda slow but if you want to use it, do it when they wake up and time it so u can combo a cr. lk or st. lk > lp dash punch, or go for the mixup and do a standing HK or command grab right after the hit lands.
watch J Makoto if you want to learn him, he's one of the best...I think Ken is a bad matchup for him in general though...I have a hard time beating good Ken's even when I think I've outplayed him.
I don't like the fact that sf4 has ultra's that you have to get hurt to use.
It should keep it classic super bars and why the hell does akuma only have raging demon. I use controller and i can't do raging demons with the controller, i need pad or keyboard. They should at least gave him Messatsu gouhadou.

Top tiers are, in order, Yun, Chun, Ken. Yun and Chun have been switching spots for quite a few years.
Makoto, Dudley, Yang and Urien are high tier characters, not top. And recently people are saying dudley is above makoto, making her the 5th from top to bottom.

He's the best punisher in the game by a generous margin. He can punish moves that are designed to be safe, like shoto crouching fierce or alex's EX slash elbow. Shippu is a ridiculously overpowered super in every area but damage.
He's also the only character that has both overhead and low confirms to super, besides dudley, which means that he has the best 50-50 game of any character. Ever wonder why Ken always gets like 3 grabs in a row in the corner? It's because people are so afraid they block

Es verdad. Street fighter III es un juego complejo y profundo, además de tener un mejor diseño artístico que el IV (para mi gusto). A ver si el V se parece más al III.

De hecho ahora con el reciente anuncio de los nuevos personajes, la revista Famitsu en un reportaje sobre estos puso una imagen donde se ve a Guy bloqueando un Kunai que va en un angulo diagonal, lo que podria indicar que tal vez veamos a Ibuki en el IV (y pues, aun faltan 2 personajes por anunciar, espeor sean Ibuki y otro del III)

Hace mucho tiempo se hizo una lista de rumores acerca del SSFIV, y hasta ahora todos han sido acertados, dicha lista predijo que Dee Jay, T. Hawk, Guy, Cody y Juri se agregarian al juego, y Juri no es algo que puedas atinarle de suerte....
Segun dicha lista del SFIII serán Ibuki,Dudley y Makoto.

@asnlunatic Fuck mainstream. 3rd Strike is still the my favorite fighting game. No exceptions. 3rd Strike with a few exceptions still is balanced enough that pretty much anybody can do well or even destroy the competition. Things like Adon dominating in SSF4 are very very rare.

But if its not going to bring in new fans what good does it do? Your gonna have the same people in tourneys playing the same people. It isn't very good in her game, it's kinda slow but if you want to use it, do it when they wake up and time it so u can combo a cr. lk or st. lk > lp dash punch, or go for the mixup and do a standing HK or command grab right after the hit lands.
