@TheRandomTee About your 2 first questions: The original song was written/composed during ww2 for italian communists, anarchists, socialists - generally italian people fighting against fascism.

Regarding the flag, I assume since it's widely thought as communism symbol/flag the uploader tried to entie the rebel forces for whom the song was written- not an entirely false choice:) (I 've seen the original image before and if i am not mistaken its berlin pictured and not an italian city)
