When i got my first baby turtle it died as well ( It got under a rock and couldn't do out and i was in school) Now I have 3 turtle and they are really happy . I have everything what they need . I have them only for 2 month and they grew about 4 cm since then .:)
My turtle died today all the sudden. I did everything right and got him a nice big tank and a UVA UVB lamp. Made sure to do water changes and keep the water around 80 degrees. He had just eaten a Rosie goldfish maybe the fish was sick. I really don't know he was fine last night and this morning when I went to feed him I thought he was just sleeping at the bottom of the tank. I'm very sad.

i had a baby red eared slider a while back. He was in this little tank with 2 older turtles of the same type. One day I just found the baby stuck to the glass side and dry and crusty. His body literally dried onto the glass wall of the tank. IDK how or why he died i guess the older turtles weren't letting him eat or something.
O.o it looks dead, but look closely at 00:14 through 00:16 and it looks like she blinks twice, :/ if not im so sorry for ur loss, i hope mine will never die any time soon, :(
@titanic98810 i bought 2 new baby turtles and 1 of ems name is Greeny cause the shell is kinda aqua so yeah and the other one is climber cause it likes too climb
R.I.P. MR. Diver, I have a red ear turtle as this one.. Still 10 years and going on. Im sure they may went to his funural. If mine happen to die. Im sure they will meet. and it's spirit is always with it's owner with full of love trying to protect and save.

some turtle/terrapins are born with a fault where they will die before getting to a year old no matter how well you look after them, its like a 30% chance if i remember correctly. sorry about ya loss dude
im sorry for your loss! i got my res turtle shakespeare on january 1st (2011) and he died on the 8th of jan from a respiratory infection :( i couldnt help him, i tried everything to help him. and he was so tiny :(
Very sad my turtle died august 27 which was last Friday and I could not stop crying but I got over it and I missed him but I put flowers in his grave. And he dud not turn a year old yet but now I have 3 more and u get new big tank next month and bug 2 more 1 half old turtles so I will have 5 and I'm getting a tank from petco the same one with8. Big turtles in there and a mountain dock
