The new updates finally solve the major flaw that freezing at the startup. It's the 1st update after 5 months since launch. The iPod Control is better than TomTom but still inferior compare to Navigon as it doesn't support Asian text. Navigon has also improved a lot with live Traffic and up coming Google POI search. iGo has to work harder to keep up the competition.

Works great for me (perfect GPS reception till now)! The voice commands should be improved, but otherwise it's very smooth, pleasant, clear, and efficient. Just waiting for future versions to get improved voice and useful announced features, but I'm glad with my choice and I recommend it.

For those who can't catch GPS well: don't you have something in the way to the satellites, like a case/pouch? If yes, maybe try without... (It's still passing through my silicone case, though.)

cannot find correct the door numbers correctly using UK postcode!! as the Smart (really stupid) keyboard won't let me type the required door number, have to point manually in the map!!!

I downloaded it 3 days ago from the Appstore!

The software is nicely put together but for some reason most of the time, like 90% it simply cant find any GPS signal!

I dont know who's fault it is but I am really pissed off!

Apple or NNG, try to fix this!!!

did enable location THING in the setup menu of ur phone? i call it THING because english is not my native language so i dont know the correct word..enable it to start to use GPS dude.or ur phone will use only A-GPS..and use it OUTSIDE. not inside.

I did enable it and still nothing, but in the mean time I bought the 3GS, on which works completly fine, only the voice guidance is shitting around and when its most needed stops instructing!

On the video u can see a DEMO route, where u can adjust speed of movement. I think it will work flawless as shown here.

I feel sorry for developers that apple did not gave 100% acces to the GPS chip so the OS lags the chip response ...

it will be a small delay...but still i think iGo will be the best out of TomTom Sygic Navigon and the others!

The map display is a little "optimized". They play it faster so the application looks more smooth. Have a look at the speed of the driver when turning left or right. In a real situation, you would crash.
