  • umm...Gary Moore??....hellooo?

  • Glad to see you saved the best for last! Stevie Ray #1 for me Always.

  • Jeff Beck please!

  • Bloomfield and Hendrix were the 2 geniuses, the rest are great guitar players

  • Thanks for this video man!

    Discovered a few new artists!

  • this dude sounds like carlos santana

  • Can someone tell me the names of the songs?

  • Anyone who doesn't put Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix in the top 2 slots automatically is OUT OF THEIR MIND.

  • WHERE THE FRACK IS MIKE STERN???????

  • I put Buddy Guy #1 because he influenced all the rest. BB King #2 for same reason. Then Bloomfield, pure genius. STV #4 even if he copied Albert King & Hendrix. After that in no particular order, Freddie King, Albert King, Duane Allman, Elmore James, Robert Johnson, and Peter Green. Clapton is OK, but... I also like Page and Winter.

  • SANTANA????????

  • muy buena la lista...solo sacaria a santana y a trucks

  • great stevie clip

  • Great list,

    PETER GREEN WHOOoooo..

thats like the only one your missing

  • Michael Bloomfield = Greatest guitarist in any genre, rock or blues, to have ever lived.

  • Johnny Winter

  • My buddy in sweet Virginia puts Peter Green as #1 of al time. Stevie Ray and Johnny Winter are must includes in the top 10 blues guitarist of all time.

  • Really liked the video, and you have nice taste in guitarists. My 10 blues guitarsist would change : - Derek Trucks out Peter Green in Stevei Ray Vaughn out Otis Rush in Santana out T-bone Walker in Elmore James out Freddie King in. But if i was to make a final list, i would have to think about it way more carefully :)
  • derek trucks out, HA, what the hell do you know, he is most likely the best guitar player alive right now.

  • And...

In MY list i would not put him in it. It is a Hall Of Fame List. I doubt he has had such an impact on the guitar world as much as the guitarists i have mentioned. I am not doubting his ability.

    Now go flame somewhere else..

  • Oh, and we were talking BLUES hallf top 10.

There are about 20 other blues guitarists i would put ahead of Derek Trucks as they would deserve the title more. Of course you would have to know your blues to recognize that, it's not always about best guitarist.

  • He's completely revolutionized the slide guitar, he's done something entirely new, his sound is beyond unique. I'm well versed in all the old school blues men and they're great, but derek has taken from them and added so much more to what they did.

Sure they deserve alot of credit for doing it first, but what derek trucks does is nothing short of amazing. I appoligise for phrasing things so rudely, I tend to get passionate when great players like derek dont get credit where credit is due.

  • he is playing with the allman brothers, thats gotta be worth something! Although i dont like the changes he makes to the songs :s

  • What concert Was that Duane Allman "Elzabeth Reed" solo from? and how can I get it? I thought I had every live booteg. Please tell me!!!!

  • You're in luck brother, this is from the Allman Brothers Band
