  • I fucking suck at metalcore fuck lolspecial guitar

  • @Fizzy666XD it's "Cavalera Conspiracy - must kill", from the album "Inflikted"

  • thanks alot u made me jealous:(

  • rad playin mate, check out my covers by the way,5 stars..peace

  • hey can you send me the tab you used for this? i can't pick this song out by ear ahahahah.

  • @BADRELIGION48 you can study my video ;) no joke!!! send me your email-adress in a personal message and i'll send you the guitarpro-tab!

  • oh, and do you have the tabs for this? the song isn't even listed on ultimate-guitar =/

  • sure, i have the guitar pro tab if you want !! send me your email (in a personal message) :)

  • try galloping (sp?), use 3 fingers, it takes a little bit of practice, but its well worth it speed wise =)

  • i know... my "galloping style" is not so quick so far!! my two-fingers-speed is higher... i practice :)

  • @sepulnation1986 not quick so far?? well now i m depressed ;)

  • play B.Y.O.B. with those fingers.

  • You rock hardcore X)

  • thx =)

  • and if you want a suggestion for a song from these guys id say 94 hours you could probably do a really good job on it

  • dude no one has a bass cover to this song and you nailed it,great job. great choice of band=] in my opinion this is one of my favorite bands \m/

  • thats frl great. i love it <3

  • good stuff mate , I think your playing is spot on

  • thx =) yeah i think it too, because i know playing metalcore with bass is not so difficult, 'cause they mainly play just main-note, while guitar is jumping around :) but i'm open for every critic ;)

  • Sure, guitar is jumping around while bass plays often root notes but on guitar it is less difficult to jump arround then on bass because on bass it is hard to play fast.

And on this song there is only one riff in which the bass plays root notes.;)

  • if it's wrong or not, i hope you understand that i'm not gonna make a new video of this song :D i played it like a guitar-pro-tab found in the web, and i listened to the song 100 times :) i don't hear a difference!

  • nah, who said it's wrong?

  • upps, sorry, misunderstood :)

  • no problem.^^

  • very good (Y), bassists - dying breed. nice to see ^^

  • wow great job, i'm still working on triplets with fingers, so for now i just use a pick. but there's a few things wrong, i can send you the exact tab if you want.

  • yeah??? oh, ok sure you can! thanx man

  • great job man

  • cool, awesome bass player!!!!

  • I love playing finger style, but it is very different tone then playing with a pick (which I am trying to do, but failing at, I must say).

    Good work.

  • i only play with fingers... i know, fast things are difficult and sound sometimes bad, but it's just practice ;)

    thx

  • May I ask why you play fingers-only?

  • because my idol is cliff burton, and he played solos and quick things with fingers and never took a pick ;) this is my goal

  • Understandable. I have no problem with your goal, it's just that mine's the opposite. ;) I do throw fingers out there every so often though.

  • i know, playing tool and maybe hardcore-things need a pick, because of the sound they make! i think, playing with fingers is more difficult, especially on fast things.

    it's a question of sound :)

  • Definitely. I like to apply what's appropriate, so obviously Tool could be nothing but a pick. But on a song like Harvest, or perhaps coil, by Opeth, fingers is necessary. I used to hate picks though, and was able to play as fast as most pick bassists, but after I realized how silly my hate was, I played evenly with both, and am more pick nowadays. It's also hard, because lately I'm primarily a guitar player, so I don't keep my callouses. Hopefully I get back to bass if I find a band though. :)

  • Otherwise finger style playing looks cooler and more special.;)

Oh, I really have to pick up my bass again.

  • Its allways good to be versitile. If i could give you any advice it would be to practice with both

  • i play also guitar, so i practice there with pick :)

i know my attitude is hard to understand, but that's me ^^

  • i'm about to learn this to :D

  • Wow ,perfect !!!

  • COOL! Very GOOD

  • thank you very much ;)
