Also learning proE for an internship and I agree, these videos were really helpful. I was fitting to smash my keyboard when I was doing the assembly constraints because they're handled differently in 5.0 but once I figured it out I really felt like I was starting to learn this program.... thanks a million Leo!

Great vid. I finally made my first animation thanks to your tips. I am having a problem though. It seems every other animation I do my assembly spins instead of my model. I am trying to animate a submarine prop. The sub has 4 thrusters and the first one animates just fine but the second one sends my assembly spinning out of control while the prop stays stationary. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Note: In ProE wildfire 4.0, while assembling the shuttle on to the base, the option Planar, or even the option Slider don't work.... the option "User defined" with "Automatic" works well with the exact same steps shown in the video... Can't believe it took me 3 hrs to figure out the mess! And as all gr8 inventions, this one was also accidental when I forgot to select Planar & it worked! :)

Thank you this was very helpfull. I actually have to make a tutorial video myself and present it to my class for Pro-Engineer. I think you might find this cite very interesting. My Graphics Engineering Proffessors created a virtual world in which we learn to be graphic engineers for the roman empire who is trying to recapture thier castle. Ha! pretty trivial I know, but it works!
