I dont even remember the commercial for this game, though MK had some pretty terrible game advertisements that made no sense at all...I mean this commercial doesn't look like it has anything to do with MK at all. Now if body parts were ripped off during the touch scenes in the commercials I would be convinced that it was an MK commercial. But I have to admit the early 90s and early 2000's had some badass game commercials...Not so much anymore though.

Deadly Alliance and Deception, UMHO, helped Mortal Kombat revive itself. SHaolin Monks was awsome, as it was a great asventure game unlike the last two. Armageddon was a step backwards as it reused models from the thre ablove games, with newer models going to characters that never appeared in the last gen games.

And don't get me started on MK vs. DC. MK 2011 will be the one to help get it back on it feet again.

I still think this was the best console one. I loved puzzle and konquest in Deception but despised the lack of effort in Armageddon. The sheer fact that all 60 characters were in it was amazing at first but the lack of only having to save 1 KAF and no special per character fatalities made it disappointing. Deception was my fav mini games though becuase it was fun to play chess against a buddy. Motor Kombat was crap. They should bring back chess and puzzle in the new one,

@megabanjo03 You know, I thought this way about Deception as well, at first. However, upon playing all three of that Trilogy...Deception is the best. Here's why--an interesting Konquest Mode, Puzzle Kombat and 2 Fatalities per character.

But yeah, Armageddon was immensely disappointing.

@megabanjo03 Actually Infinities are usually a bad thing that can make a fighting game "broken"--like Guilty Gear X2(lookin' at Slayer's Bite Infinite).

However, seeing as MK is well-known for cheap-ass single-player AI and even cheaper-ass players...

then I digress. Infinites are good.

If Deadly Alliance had 2 Fatalities per character and Kitana had more moves to do--then I'd say you were right and I owe you pancakes because then Alliance would be better than Deception. Good day.

Fatalities are just gimmicks, after doing them like 100 times I get bored of watching them, I may as well talk about Death Traps which were a poor addition to the game, you may be taking the lead in a fight and the opponent would just win by pushing you to a Death Trap.
