I love this. Jackdaws like all corvids a very smart birds. In fact most birds are a lot smarter than people give them credit for. King Charles spaniels are also very friendly dogs

Love love love. This is going viral for sure! I just shared it on my Facebook. Check out my vids--I raised some crows here in Newfoundland and there are several vids of the babies and also of a fella called Oliver who spent the last years of his life living with us (reared by hand and almost blind with cataracts). Well, well, we just had this bird knocking (sort off) on our door asking for same TLC and a bit of "tucker" as we find out.

What an amazing young bird and how gentle "she" (we think) is with people, in no time my wife was playing/petting her without any fear and the bird seem to accept that sort of "treatment" well.

A quick look at her leg did show a tag with a ph number which I recognised as local so a quick call to that number have uncover "Aussie's" story and origin.

We are all neighbours!
