@julsbrannan i have seen these before. there is a seperate ball inside it that is weighted, so you roll the shell and the eye doesnot move.:D hope that helped :P

Cool, but you really need a classic 1965 Wham-O Superball. Unlike a regular bouncy ball, if you drop it at shoulder level it will bounce 92% of the way back unlike 60%-70% with a regular bouncy ball. If you throw it down with force it can leap over a four story building! They don't make them any more but you might be able to find one on Ebay for a pretty penny depending on the condition.

I faved this. I've been collecting bouncy balls since I was a kid in the 80s. My collection isn't as big as your and I always try to get them out of the machines. My first one was a medium sized clear with a beutiful rainbow swirl inside. But with age it dehydrated, turned yellow and cracked. It was sad.  I'll never forget that one and clears with glitter are my faves now. I should find all of mine and make a video too.

Awesome! I thought I was the only person in the world who collected superballs! Like you, I started the collection when I was 8. But then once I had my own children (I'm 42 and have two young daughters), the collection took on a life of its own-- we now have 1000's of superballs from all over the globe. We look for them everywhere we go. I'm going to have my daughters make a video of our collection for You Tube so that you can see it!!!

And how did you get them from all over the world? You can get them only in the U.S. because Wham-O (the company that makes Superballs) is located here.

Unless you mean just regular bouncy balls, don't ever call a bouncy ball a superball. You haven't lived until you bounced a real Wham-O Superball.

I got most of te egg bouncy balls from the Easter Bunny when I was younger. I did find a new one this year at Party City. They have a web site you can order some for only $0.99! Hope that helps :)
