also in case you did not know Bertman, alot of the professional tennis players do not have the same rackets they advertise. thye get certain people "at times" to paint or at times even customize their own rackets. so chances are you do not have the same racket as federer. i will say Bertman, you probably have same or SIMILIAR racket, yes to what federer is promoting. but it cant be the same because federer's racket is customized and could be painted. so we dont know if he is even using similar

1) ur upper arm region (around and NOT OVER ur biceps/triceps/shoulder region). this is for your normal groundstrokes such as a drive, a flat shot or just a normal topspin forehand

2) over ur head (similarly to nadal). use this when u want to generate a A LOT of topspin such as a lob, passing shot or if ur on the run

anyone have any tips, i have a two handed backhand and after every hit i look up at my ball and its spinning sideways. i tried to fix it to have top spin but no matter what it always ends up either no spin or sidespin... any help?

@stuman1012 try to dominate the motion with your off hand and let the racket head whip trough the ball and a little upwards. you need to let the mechanics of your arms work freely. no blocking or pulling, just swing. think of it as a forehand with your off hand and an additional hand at your racket grip. if this doesn't work immediatelly, don't worry. maybe check the way you hold the racket and you'll losen up as soon as you begin to feel comfortably :) good luck

@stuman1012 1) make sure that ur racquet face is closed when u make contact with the ball (hitting with a square face means that you are hitting it flat with no spin and hitting with an open face means that you are slicing the ball)

2) follow through in the direction that you are hitting the ball i.e. don't hit across the ball otherwise you will be slicing it
