Yes, sound works on this motherboard. Snow Leopard would need to be installed independently and not over Leopard.

probably not for awhile if I do. The two factors influencing my wait: I'm using my system with Final Cut 7 and I'm waiting for a little more maturity from the app and the OS. The other is that I'm considering getting 100% compatible video card before making any bold moves. Currently my Sapphire 4870 wont wake up from deep sleep and that bugs me.

I don't know for sure but I think someone on the insanelymac website was able to do it. Search there in the geniusbar. There is a thread about the the asus p6t deluxe. it's in that one. I think the two motherboards have similar components. Good luck.

Hi thanks for video. But i've got some troubles.

Did exactly what you did with bios but during part 2 my comp freezzee in different moments. Can't find out why. After some experiments i remove two of my three ram modules (transcend 3x1 gb) and after that it goes bit more... And again it freezee during main extract.

Any advise ?

You might already know this but there are several places where it appears to hang for quite a long while. I accelerated the video. Are you overclocking the ram? Does the ram have enough voltage. Some needs more than the default 1.5volts. My OCZ needs 1.65volts.

it's not a hang its just freezee. I did downclock my ram to 800 instead of 1333. Just in case. But this never helps also. will try to increase ram voltage. Thanks for advise.

Which BIOS do you have? I have 406

sorry for the long delay in replying. I had problems with the previous bios. It wasn't until I updated to 406 that I ever had a successful install. Hope you got it figured out.
