I connect with him in so many ways even tho I'm only 19 and only recently bought their CDs. But I remember loving music as a kid and would stay up all hours of the morning watching the Saturday music shows. Oi, I'm only 14. I got no connection to The Clash at all and especially not Joe Strummer... 7-- goin' on 8-- years gone now, eh? But somehow they (and he's) totally make an impact for me. being a young un(18) i never got to experience the clash live but my mum (lol) saw them over 20 times and was lucky enough to go drink with them a few times but i feel as though is a massive loss to music when joe died and it fucks me right off that ill never get to see the clash live or meet joe strummer, the only famous person i'd ever call an idol
