thank you for showing us another way to use eyeliner instead of the cat-eyed look...ive been always doing the cat eyed look thinking they did that in the 40s now i'm noticing they seem like they tight-lined there lashes =]
That bare escentuals brush isn't a blush brush. I think that it's the angled face foundation brush. Either or I suppose it worked well. On your lips they usually outlined the lips and extended the natural lip line a bit. Also, with the eyes, they defined the crease in their eyes as well. Otherwise great job with the makeup tutorial. Your beautiful. :)
Hey Bethainy, I have really oily skin. None of my makeup will stick to it, even if i use powder (such as translucent powder). I don't know what to do about it, I also have really large pores that I'm not sure how to cover. Is there anything I can do? I have SUPER pale skin and freckles that I love, but I don't know how to play them up when my makeup is running off my face. Can you help me?
I followed this tutorial for my grad makeup, of course it didn't turn out as perfect as when you do it but I got lots of compliments on it! Thank you, Bethany!
I was looking for an eye look to do with the new Chanel Rouge Noir lipsticks that I purchased and this would be perfect. Of course I came to your tutorials first lol!
Hi Bethany. I have a formal ball to go to in Cambridge - very formal. And I loved your videos, I found loads of videos on the internet but the other tutorials always seem to put so much shadow on, your looks look so much natural and efortless.
I kind of chose this makeup look for the ball but i as I have olive skin, do you think it will look good?
You need to invest in some good brushes though. I got some for Christmas and whoa was there a difference. I know it's not as fun as buying new makeup but y'know what they say "a workman's only as good as his tools". :-D
im so mad! our walmart is so tiny that they have like 0 makeup and no brushes..... i come from a very small town.... it sucks. your makeup is beautiful!
Thank you! I've been looking for a make-up look that matched my 1940s-looking dress for this dance I'm going to next week but everything was a bit too costume-y for my tastes but this is PERFECT! It's simple, classic, and tasteful. I adore it!
Really? I'll have to check it out. Though I haven't been able to find ELF at any stores... I've only ordered online in the past. Thanks so much for subscribing!!
aww your adorable! very unique look at lining the top lid...I don't think I've ever seen anyone do it that way before. But yeah, alot of people ask me, where do you get such bright eyeshadow? and are completely suprised when I say "the dollar store and the internet" :]
You're adorable and this look suits you very well! I love that you used a lot of less expensive brands...personally I think a lot of department store brands are just overrated, not to mention overpriced!
I read somewhere that Boujois make up is made using the same stuff as Diors, or something like that, so it's probably just the label that we're buying.
I love the way you talk. I don't mean your accent or anything, just your speech patterns. You're good at make-up application, and your eyes are very deep.
Lovely tutorial , upon opening it I thought I wouldn't manage to get through a whole nine minutes, but you're very likable so they passed very fast. Nice work and I think this might actually be of help to me.
Well, thank you :) I try to make them shorter, but it's just so hard to show all the steps in a short amount of time. I like to make sure you guys can see each step.
Wow. What a beautiful and understated elegance. Very lovely. Also, how much do you look like Christina Applegate in the stills at the end ? An even prettier Christina though. Keep up the tutorials!!!
you're a really adorable person

Tightlining seems to be becoming very popular these days, I actually have a tutorial dedicated specifically to that.
