it -- the mma record -- does matter as far as credibility and experience... maybe style too. stevenson's credible because not just anyone can face jens pulver, and george may gain some credibility for fightin him on saturday. the ufc record itself only matters when you fight in the ufc. that is, if you fight for the ufc, guys like dana white only care much about who you've beaten in the ufc, not who you've beaten in the organizations u named..
