my guess is that in the end they find some kind of cure because the guy who woke up in the hospital is actually a zombie, the infection just revived more of his brain than with the other zombies, allowing him to reason and maintain his body functions so he wont rot away, this because in ep6, his friend confirmed he died in the hospital.

I like how people are saying this series ripped ideas off 28 days later, people need to remember that 28 days later ripped off the zombie idea from all the other zombie movies out there. Wanna rag on this series for borrowing ideas from 28 days, then lets rag on 28 days for borrowing ideas from Night of the living dead!

This is a really great series and I hope it goes the full distance, like 10 years.

because, we really never saw running zombies until 28 days later... Then when zombieland came out it reminded so many of us of Left 4 Dead with the 4 surivors and the infected. Now all we need is to get it so they make a left 4 dead movie. :P
