Hey im having an issue with the chroma key. when i click chroma key, some of the green doesnt turn black the method you did is not working for me. what should i do?

I have a question: Sometimes after I key out the greenscreen, my puppet has a tint of green on it due to the lighting, and it looks really weird. Is there any way to counteract that?

i am sorry. as much as your tutorial was great overall, your voice just seems so monotone. you should let professional voice overs do that :P

but its great overall, never knew about holding the shift key you said? after choosing the eye dropper tool. never knew that :D

anyway... i read in an article that final cut express is the final cut pro for dummies basically. otherwise not too many differences :P

it might be b/c of your ram, because i think final cut requires at least 1gb

well, your tech specs seem good. final cut should install.  the only other thing i can think of is maybe you installed it on another computer first.

you can go to vara software's website. it is $100 if you want to buy it, or you can download the watermarked demo. the demo never expires but the watermark is very noticable

ok i was lookign at the mac store onlen and i found these

and

Final Cut Express 4.0 upgrade from Final Cut Express HD 1, 2, 3, 3.5

The second one cost 100 dollars less than the first.. i was trying to tell a defference between them but i culdnt.. which one do u use cuz the pics on the website under that product doesnt look like what ur using oddly... can ya help?

the first one you were looking at was the full version of fce 4. the second one you are referring to is an upgrade package. the upgrade is a discount only available to people who have bought an earlier version and are now upgrading. this is because they have already bought the product for full price, so they get a discount for future versions.

i am using Final Cut Express 4 HD which is the version you are looking at. the pictures online just have the user interface in a diff arrangement

the space video i showed in the video is just a clip that came with a package of stock footage that i got a while ago. as to where you can find cool clips...you can either buy them or make your own
