I find it funny that Heaven's Gate was the only boss in this rush without a flashy or extraordinary entrance and yet he's almost the hardest damn boss in the game.

Heaven's Gate is like Big Core Mk-II on steroids. I don't even think I could beat it so easily.

Man, it took me a week to get the battle with Heaven's Gate right... I took two weeks on battling Boost core on Loop 2!

It's somehow easier to do it with Falchion Beta, the Gravity Shot is very powerful... So is Auto-aim, My fave Gradius Gaiden Weapon!

Oooh, that Neo Big Core is a pain in the ass, what with those tiny bombs that give off really big explosions and the gargantuan laser... and so is that Heaven's Gate ship!! That would normally give players fits because of the precise movements one has to make to get in between those lasers.

Gaiden wasn't released in the arcades, mate. That boss is called Heaven's Gate, and only appears on the game's second loop. :)
