  • BP didn't have ANY still cameras down there, but they had SEVERAL live feed videos. If this was real, it would be a video of a shark swimming by, not just a single picture of an extremely well lit shark.

  • fake as the easter bunny

  • 1 st of all i think this pic is fake and 2nd WE ARE F***D PPL!!

  • shit greed is a bitch..

  • that looks photo shopped.

  • haha can sharks even swim to that depth ?.. so fake.. lol

  • lol way to exploit the biggest disaster in history

  • Photoshop-_-

  • gotta risk it for the biscuit, says BP.

  • This is so fucking fake.

  • why the fuck am i seeing this stupid ad that says BP oilspill blame Obama. i mean WTFFF AND WTTTTTTTFFFF he doesnt have to do anything with those morons of BP. BLAME BP YOU FUCKTARDS

  • Not to mention the oil leak is 5,000 feet under the ocean and you can't see daylight that deep. The shark picture is probably more like 50 feet deep, with the oil cropped in.

And for you smart people who say 'oh he's not at the base of the leak'...I say: the oil is dispersed once it's that far up.

  • Not funny or cute. We've destroyed life in the Gulf and on the earth! We will find out just how bad it really stinks!

  • The image of the shark is extremely crisp and detailed. The rest of the photo is pixelated, the qualities don't match which likely means its photoshoped.

  • There are no White sharks in the Gulf. Too warm

  • Uh. That shark wouldn't be anywhere around there. The water's way too toxic.

  • At least use a shark that actually lives in the Gulf. Great whites do not.

  • We don't have Great Whites in the Gulf.

  • the sad part is the sharks probably dead now :P

  • I live in miami florida and the spill makes me sad and worried about the sea life. Good going BP

  • I think any youtube video with an advertisement or link should be insta-banned.

  • HEY GUIZ, I SHOPPED THIS IMAGE SO I COULD PROFIT OFF OF THE LARGEST ENVIRONMENTAL DISASTER EVER! AND MY EX THOUGHT I WAS THE BIGGEST DOUCHEBAG IN THE WURLD, AT LEST I NOT BP LOLOLZ!

  • FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE.

    1) This is shallow water, the real BP spill is a mile down in darkness.

    2) the oil coming out of the BP spill is yellow, not black.

    3) I highly doubt a great white shark, which is mainly a cold water shark would be hanging out in the warm waters of the gulf.

    4) this photo shop job sucks

  • i dont think boycotting will do anything. Folks... the Govt will just take control of this as well as they have done with banks and loans, cars manufacturing co. healthcare and now even to sell your home you'll need a permit soon to keep it up to the "green" standard. BS this world is going to hell in a hand basket and unless every politician is removed, we become self sufficient such as be able to build and grow we are dooooomed.

  • Really...? Are some of you guys insane? How many Great White sharks do you know of in the Gulf? Not too freaking many! Good Try.... Wake up ppl!

  • Anyone see the irony in trying to sell shit with the message of: "Down with the evil capitalist!"

I mean this is a joke right? Are you really selling T-Shirts etc? LOL

  • Down with BP and the greedy oil industry - it's time to switch to alternative eco-friendly fuels like solar, wind or geothermal energy...

  • @gqdr77 Bro until car manufacturing companies make mass apeal cars that run on that then oil will be needed. And idk if airplanes can run on solar power tbh.

  • @NubPwn3RBeAsT Nissan Leaf Coming Soon.. Got Mine Pre Ordered So I Don't Have to Worry about these stupid Oil Companies

  • WOW!~ You must be a genius to have put that together. Hope you get an A in you 4th grade programming class.

  • Nope, here's the true reason behind BP's oil spill and Tony Hayward's inactivity

Shocking truth, but at last some true investigative journalism.

All the W's (dot) madgesvadge (dot) com (forward slash) blog

  • i know from the 1st itme i saw this it was bullshit. 1st 3 seconds. Another stupid arse who has time to waste.

  • I hope someone got the fins off of that dirty shark.

  • that shark is like I'm going to bite the fuck out of tony!!

  • Are only the things that go on the top of the water being affected?

Cause that shark looks fine to me haha

  • Sharks like: "BP, WTF you fail"

  • youtube.com/watch?v=QUU-NqzknWc

  • Obviously 'shopped, not to mention crass!

  • Shoop! Shoop! I've seen a few shoops in my time, the pixels give it away.

  • The critical issue here is the BP oil spill which is now the biggest ecological disaster in US history! This demands people take action. Boycott BP! This oil is killing fish, birds and threatens to destroy the wetlands and Gulf Coast!

  • @goneviral69

I understand it's killing all of the poor animals, but that's a natural resource. We didn't make oil, and nature could have just as easily done this to itself. I respect nature, but I also respect how nature has to do what it does (Such as killing).

  • @goneviral69 Don't tell anyone that we have allready destroyed the wetlands because those silly brits are going to pay to clean up our allready destroyed wetlands,shhhhh.LOL.all the way to the bank.

  • @goneviral69 I think your message should be to boycott "OIL" period, and give the world back "free market" energy. We should have been off of oil 40-50 years ago. 90% of the world is still controlled by a small amount of elite people!

Im not stressing much because the world will really wake up when they find out the "relief wells" won't work!

  • @goneviral69 we must do more than boycott BP- what - let me get back to you on that one

  • @goneviral69 Boycotting BP is a terrible idea. You're not sticking it to them an, you're only hurting the local gas station owners who are already living on razor-thin margins with no support from BP for lost customers. Also, this image is a horrible photoshop as pointed out by numerous posters in the comments section. DIAF please.

  • @goneviral69 It was an accident.

  • its ture to much light

  • @luncheonroll You mean "too" much light? Suggest you take a look at the ROV videos yourself. Maybe you can spot another shark or marine life if they are attracted to the very bright lights on the ROVs.

  • @goneviral69 Hey, this was my 10 year old, shark-mad daughter who posted this comment from my account, and yes she meant "true, too much light" for that depth. Although some sharks do swim down at the bathypelagic zone where very little natural light enters, and obviously the worst-affected creatures would be those which inhabit the upper waters where sunlight is vital for the marine foodchain. She got a real kick out of this vid tho :)

  • @BradJC70

well, now we know what you've been doing in the 12 hr break between comments. fucking spammer.

    KEvron

  • Please also watch the other videos related to the toxic nature of the BP oil spill. One video shows fish acting bizarre, jumping out of the water. Fishermen and others helping in cleanup efforts have been sickened and hospitalized. This goo is really bad stuff! Go down to the Gulf and spend a day cleaning up the goo. But be warned, you might get cancer as a result, and not find out until years later and have no liability!!!! The BP oil spill is not done yet killing animals and people!

  • bad shoop is bad

  • Obvious photo manip. Far too much light.

  • @BradJC70 True there is no light at this depth, that is why the ROV uses bright lights to illuminate the oil spill. The lights from the ROV are so bright you can even see the pipes in the background. It would not surprise me if the toxic mix of chemicals in the BP oil spill and Corexit caused all sorts of bizarre behavior in sharks, fish and other marine life. It has even sickened people helping with the cleanup!

  • @goneviral69 Ok. GIVEN that, the light pattern on the top of the sharks body are possible only from a light source originating ABOVE the shark. The 'striping' pattern occurs in relatively shallow depths as an effect of sunlight bouncing off the water at the surface. As well the scale and dimensions don't fit no matter where the vantage point was.

  • @BradJC70 I suggest you go watch some of the BP ROV cams yourself. The BP oil spill home page. There is a link in the description. It has links to the US Congress site with some 12 ROV cams. Then just wait for a shark or other marine life to swim by. Good luck and have fun fishing! :-)

  • @goneviral69 Are you wearing a helmet? I GAVE you 100% irrefutable evidence that this was a PHOTOSHOPPED IMAGE. I have emails from the OWNER WHO TOOK THE PICTURE. It's theft by the way, to use a copywritten image without permission.

All this bullshit is meant for is to get you to buy merchandise and CRAP from the website it directs you to. Is that you? If not, take a closer look...

  • @BradJC70 Yes he is a real fuck that deserves to die a horrible death.

  • @BradJC70 yep your right the picture is a fake!

  • @goneviral69 hey i know what happens when you don't clean up oil in the ocean and im ten i want to be a marine byolagest but my spelling not so good but my point is i no what happens then so should everybody els i mean i'm ten

  • @luncheonroll Do you REALLY know what happens when people or animals get soaked in oil? They may get sick and can't breath. Birds cannot keep warm and die of hypothermia or ingest the oil and expire. Sea turtles and dolphins may suffocate. Oil kills EVERYTHING it touches!

  • @goneviral69 Just in response, my daughter does know her stuff and is well aware of the effect of oil on marine life, to the extent that I have tried really hard to protect her from the images and footage that have come about as a result of this disaster. BP's reluctance to act swiftly is absolutely damning.

  • @goneviral69 It didn't kill my car motor.

  • @BradJC70

    humorlessly pedantic much?

    KEvron

  • @KEvronius Yes Kevin when one prefers to err rather than see the facts for what they are, I won't let go until one learns what is right.

  • It has been suggested the toxic effect of swimming through oil and/or dispersants caused the shark to go berserk or crazy and exhibit atypical, bizarre behavior. Perhaps the EPA was correct in scolding BP in usage of the oil dispersant, Corexit, which is too toxic. Who knows, maybe a crazed shark, sickened by pollutants, chewing upon cables or equipment is what caused the explosion of Deepwater Horizon in the first place!

  • Didn't know sharks could swim that deep.... nice photo-shop, looks really good!

  • @redwingsred2 Who knows what the effects of the BP oil spill may be on fish, sharks or other marine life. Then add the oil dispersant, Corexit, to the mix and you really have a toxic cocktail. Already many sea turtles have been found dead along the Gulf Coast. Even fishermen helping with the cleanup have been sickened and hospitalized. I would not be surprised to see all sorts of bizarre animal behavior as a result of the BP oil spill.

  • @goneviral69 You are a real fuck twat trying to spam on BP spill. It is people like you who absolutely disgust me. I hope you die a horrible death, I really do.

  • @analyzingfunny God bless you too! Please try to be a better person and stop spouting hateful remarks on YouTube. Please endeavor to change your life by helping people and animals. And by all means, join the BP Boycott! :-)

  • @redwingsred2 Sharks can easily swim to a mile below the surface. Whale sharks have been recorded at 6,325 feet. Smaller sharks have been recorded at every depth in the ocean... even to 10,000 meters! So it is no big deal for a shark to swim by and check out the BP oil spill.

  • @goneviral69 Thanks for the info, I never knew they could go that deep.. That's pretty cool!

  • @goneviral69 Additionally, the Portuguese shark (Centroscymnus coelolepis) has been recorded at depths of 12,000 feet.

  • They have stopped the oil leak!

    --> 5b414f0a.placepictures(DOT)com

  • Where ist his lawyer?

  • @Habasch78 Yeah, someone needs to be representing the sharks, fish and other marine life. Already there have been reports of dead sea turtles and now the wetlands are being effected by the goo which threaten birds and other wildlife. Plus people helping with the clean up are getting sick.

  • @goneviral69 the answer, corexit 9500 hightoxic.

  • Shark checks out BP oil spill captured by ROV. See what it says.
