The original Lost in Space may have been cheesy, but it was very entertaining.

This cartoon seems to have just been a bad idea, however.

Around 3:55 in this clip Jonathan Harris mentions "Space Academy". Was this made before he starred in that TV series "Space Academy" or after? lol

This is way better than Gilligan's Island. I wish this was digitally restored to disc and released with all existing materials for the fans.

J Harris was the only real voice from the old tv show on this series. Made 5 yrs after the series cancelled because LIS was disliked at the top of TV officials, and Gilligan's Island was given the priority.

Actually, Lost in Space wasn't cancellled by the network. It was scheduled for a fourth season but 20th Century Fox wanted to cut the budget. The producer Irwin Allen decided to end it because he wanted more money to keep it going and Fox didn't go for it.
