Yeah, I know... Hence the soothing folk music ;) Helmet cams never do though... You get an impression of the height lost in this one at least, but not of how it's lost.
I need to shoot it again from a bar mount or under the frame, but for group rides helmet mount is nicer since you can see more of what's going on around you.

That gives absolutely no impression of how steep that gravel descent is.
