No not exactly, he started dressing up and trying to fight crime long before she showed any actual interest in him, she only started talking to him *after* he'd been beaten up and found naked (from his first fight as Kick-Ass) when she thought he was gay, when he's talking about superheroes the only time in the entire movie when he mentions that being a superhero might get him laid is in that one scene where he sneaks into her house and unmasks himself.

Saw it today. Its way darker than even the red band trailers display it so expect plenty of moments where you don't know to laugh or groan. But with all the comic book to PG-13 at max movies out there with 300 mil budgets, this is a nice ass kick to the genre. The only problem I had with it is that it took way too long to develop the characters and thus it suffered as they went overboard with the kill bill violent deaths to compensate. But overalll, loved it.

@Nezello I suppose it's up to the parents of the young actress if they would like to allow their daughter to say such things. Every parent has the right to make these decisions, and hers obviously think that her career is more important than keeping her hidden from swear words. In an interview, she actually said she has heard worse growing up with older brothers.
As for the audience, there is a reason movies have certificate ratings. So that it is seen only by people of an appropriate age.

No not exactly, he started dressing up and trying to fight crime long before she showed any actual interest in him, she only started talking to him *after* he'd been beaten up and found naked (from his first fight as Kick-Ass) when she thought he was gay, when he's talking about superheroes the only time in the entire movie when he mentions that being a superhero might get him laid is in that one scene where he sneaks into her house and unmasks himself.

"is school and everything else so thrilling that i'm the only one who ever fantasized about it?" dave was bored, he had a boring life and he wanted to change it.

Saw it today. Its way darker than even the red band trailers display it so expect plenty of moments where you don't know to laugh or groan. But with all the comic book to PG-13 at max movies out there with 300 mil budgets, this is a nice ass kick to the genre. The only problem I had with it is that it took way too long to develop the characters and thus it suffered as they went overboard with the kill bill violent deaths to compensate. But overalll, loved it.
